I was thinking about about the whole issue of Israels right to exist, and thought occured to me. One of the main things Israelis point to in regard to this issue us that they consider the area their ancient "homeland." While this may be true, using that logic shouldn't we be negotiating with some indian tribes for the control of the United States? Seems like a rather absurd rational to me.
Of course, I don't think the Israelis should up and leave at this point, it has been like 60 years, but I will say this, that was a rather mashugana spot to choose to put your country. Wouldn't South America have been much more pleasent?

Isreal retook land that has been their's for several thousand years. The UN approved them as a nation in 1948, and the world agreed they had the right to exist.
Isreal will never leave their home again, not matter what the terrorists try to do to them.

Illogical thinking...why should Israelis future be determined by what WE are doing right or wrong here in the USA. The area the Israelis occupy was DESERT when they got it in 1948 ... Even our Indian tribes have "reservations" that they can call their own...why shouldn't the Israelis? This is all about jealousy and resistance to a modern democracy in the middle east..

What gives Israel the "right" to the land?
Jews have lived in the land for 3,800 years. They didn't start arriving this century, they have been there all along.
What gives WASPs the right to North America? Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Every ethnic group deserves a homeland where they can live in peace and remain unthreatened.
If it weren't for one single phrase in the Constitution for the United States of America I would say whites have no right to be here. That one phrase is "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights,"
Anybody and everybody has equal standing under the supreme law of this land. If indiginous Americans (indians) want to participate in the governance of this land, they have equal right to do so.
So do blacks, browns, reds, yellows, pinks, purples and blues.
(Ok, let's not get carried away, I made up the blues)

It should be made in North America because you were the sponsorers of Israeli state. There are lots of areas in the United States that are empty.

You are right it all comes down to emotions
and these emotions rather then being addressed by logic on all sides are stroked into hatred from all sides...and to Anthony above who said God gave them that land?
Has God been called to testify in court to this?
EDIT ..MeInUSA SOME OF THE STRUCTURES THERE ARE OVER A THOUSAND YEARS OLD...SO MUCH FOR YOU DESERT THEORY...WHICH BRINGS ME TO ANOTHER POINT IF THE ARABS TRULY HATED THE ISRAELIS SO MUCH PRIOR TO 1948..WHY ARE THESE STRUCTURES STILL THERE? IT WAS OUR FOREIGN POLICY'S THAT HAVE SO INFLAMED THIS ENTIRE REGION.

We must forget the history and see the ground realities. People of Is rail and Palestine must end hostility and try to respect each other feeling. There is no sense in using hostile language against each other. Peace is in more in the interest of Israel as its people are under constant fear. No unjust solution can be imposed.

There are probably certain native american traditions that have prevented them from taking the land back... not to mention TONS of them died... theyd have to stoop to some REALLY low levels to get even with the diseased blanket scam!

I agree the native americans should be reclaiming their land and we have little to stand by.Certainly some agreementscould be made to shareit and get along.
