Donkey shows? Do you mean donkey basketball games or what?

I know that they have a horse tripping contest - and that can result in broken legs, back, neck, and other injuries. It's illegal to perform in these kinds of acts in the USA - however, in Mexico they have no respect for life - they have bullfights (which shows how cowardly they really are) and they have horse tripping. Both of these acts are completely inhumane and evil - I have no respect for anyone who takes part in these types of things.

I'm not sure, but what does this have to do with immigration? Is it because it's deals with Mexico?

It would probably be better off in the Travel > Mexico category or even Society & Culture.

A lot of countries have things that could be considered animal abuse, but are totally legal (like bullfights in Spain and cockfights in Puerto Rico).

Sure they do but mostly at border towns and one place thats famous for it is Tiajuana and yes that is animal abuse. These shows are always on the Mexican side. You live at a border town on the USA side i bet you have seen it or know what it is. bet you like it as well but dont want to admit it.

Yes. They are like car shows in the U.S. They have shows for stock donkeys and for modified. So get your donkey down there, slap a coat of polish on it and show it.

I have no reputable facts to confirm or deny your question and have not personally traveled to Mexico. <> or pancha or princess and others whose names I forget seem to know about it, though.
(Who would want to claim they do know about it is sick in itself.)
