It is late, I am sleepy, and left the word vote out.

Sorry.

Will you vote for a candidate based on their merits and qualifications, or based upon their party?

Fantastic question... I suspect those who answer will say "veiws" and those who saw this question and didn't want to answer... will be saying somewhere deep within the reptillian caverns of their rotten minds.... "party"

I will vote for whoever I think is most suited to represent our country, America, because this is our HOME and it deserves no less than the finest representation...

I'm not sure if our current president is an accurate representation of America or not, its depressing to think he could be... I pray that he isn't and that America is a good place at heart!

I'll vote on their views...not by particular party. Merits and qualifications do play a vital role in my decision because it shows experience.

Merits-yes, qualifications as far as formal schooling--not so much, intelligence level--absolutely. Platform and issues, why else vote!
I am voting for Kinky Friedman in Nov. for Texas Gov.--an Independant.

My rep is a rubberstamping republican. Almost a perfect voting record for Shrub. I already voted against him. Absentee ballot.

I support my party. We spend a lot of money to get them in office, if they go against party guidelines to much, we'll spend just as much getting them out. Ask Lieberman.

Peace.
