I'm a californian who had Grey Davis removed during his term. It has become clear to me that we as Americans need to do something drastic if we are going to repair the country. Not just internally but also to mend ties with our allies. We need someone like FDR to make the appropriate changes. What do you think? why not have him replaced now?

ok first off this is indiana, if that changes anything
lets start from the begining. her & her mom were'nt getting along, & my mom & her mom talked on the phone a few times (her mom says she never knows where she is, even tho she NEVER calls her cell! & most of the time shes over at our house) so sis's best friend decided to stay over here for a few days (to cool down), her mom was ok with this, a few days after shes over here she goes home & find the locks & the security code changed & her siblings ignoring her. her mom has threated to call the plice if she comes over without her being there (may have worded this wrong). sis's best friend has talked to CPC a few times, but they seem to ignore her. her mom had kinda tricked our mom into agreeing to take her in, just by a one question from CPC about if she had arrangements for her to stay here, she thought by arrangements they meant temporarily, but the word means for a long while, wich is what this 'loophole' or w/e is.
what now?...

BAGHDAD, Iraq - More than 2,660 Iraqi civilians were killed in Baghdad in September, according to new Health Ministry figures — 400 more than the month before despite an intensified U.S.-Iraqi sweep aimed at reining in violence. The United States military is having a tough time with the insurgents.

I think that the only reason people should have sex is to create children not for pleasure.

Former House Majority Leader Tom Delay said it best "Working mothers on birth control caused school shootings."

$12 BILLION dollars a year is spent on primanry and secondary school education for children here illegally.

Should we spend more tools, supplies and more interesting classes. Smaller class rooms and individual attention and free tutors so that every student has an excellent education. Add more advanced classes for gifted students too.

More Art and Music Classes, dance, sports and outings, home economics and cooking and acting & singing classes.

We could provide materials and musical and sports equiptment and uniforms free of charge for all school children.

All school lunches would be free with upgraded cafateria meals designed by a professional chef, also add a breakfast meal and after school snacks.

Because clinton cut funding to social programs in order to achieve his "surplus". (not to mention raised taxes).

So I don't understand why some of you still cry about the deficit after Bush put money back into those programs.

In the UK prisoners in jail wear boring clothes like tracksuits and sneakers, yet American Prisoners wear fantastic stuff like jumpsuits, hospital scrubs, striped pyjamas and flip flops.

Surely prisoners ought to wear weird uniforms like those in American jails, not ordinary clothes?

people who are races will suffer after all this is over. it is really sad because the people who are being persecuted can not do any thing without somebody talking about there skin color or talking about slavery. why we just have a free place to live. its sad because people have to be really careful in life just because somebody can kill them any second only because of there skin color.

Bush was not concerned about having a UN Resolution of any kind. But he could see advantage in having another nation actively involved on his side. In return for the UK's support, Blair's price was that UN Resolution.

I believe that, without it, the US would have gone in unilaterally and the UN would have irreparably lost its authority. The US could not again have generated an international concensus and the ability to deal with genuinely rogue states (N Korea?) would have been terribly diminished.

I think that Blair saw the danger to the UN and decided that its survival was worth the huge cost of joining a poorly planned war that was, even then, otherwise unjustified.
