The question asked what do you think is the future of the EU, and I responded, it will be ruled by the anti Christ, and my answer got 20 votes i think? Can you explain why this is?

Peculiar.
The view that the EU is connected with the Antichrist is very popular in both the UK and America.
I believe that the Beast (not the Antichrist, who is the False Prophet) will arise in the former Roman Empire and this may be connected with the EU. However, current trends do not support this in every way.
It is likely that the EU will become a far weaker and more fragmented organisation.

Confirmation bias. Since the Christian Fundamentalists in the USA believe that:
a) The USA is God's Own Countryâ¢
b) The Antichrist is coming
It therefore makes logical sense that the Antichrist must be coming... to Europe! So, they vote with whatever makes sense to their worldview.
The question arises, if God loves America so much, how come he gave the Muslim countries most of the oil?
Or, maybe people in the UK are aware that Peter Mandelson is an EU Commissioner these days.

The EU has been linked to the antichrist many times (in fact there is a statue of lucifer in the heart of the EU building in brussells) Protestants claim it is the business wing of the catholic church
