Former U.S. Army Lieutenant and candidate for Congress in Vermont, Dennis Morrisseau, today called for the arrest of President Bush and Vice President Cheney by the American military "if necessary" to prevent an unauthorized attack upon the nation of Iran. He said "American forces are apparently already active inside Iran, and Naval forces have received orders to deploy to that country," Morrisseau said. "The President has NO AUTHORITY to attack the nation of Iran whatsoever, in the absence of a full, formal Declaration of War on Iran by the sitting Congress."

I have been selected to be an intern in the State Department this spring and I am waiting to receive my security clearance papers. I heard there was a "way" to do security clearance. I was just wondering what is involved and if there is anything I should know while filling out the papers.

Yes - Bush can now seize American citizens as enemy combatants. Anyone can be declared an enemy combatant by Bush, even a citizen of the US, and Bush doesn't have to explain or justify it to anyone. Hello secret prison, hello torture, bye phone call, bye right to an attorney, bye trial by a jury of your peers, bye to even knowing what you are charged with. This is outrageous! The conservatives have trampled the constitution and turned it into toilet paper! And it all happened during the Foley scandal!

I have a question for those who are for illegals pouring into this country and demanding rights.

If a group of five to ten people came into your house without your permission while you were at work, cooked and cleaned the place spotless, then demanded that you pay them and provide them with a place to sleep and have full access to your house anytime they wanted. Would you be happy? This is the same scenario that is going on with illegals entering this country right now.

All of you against illegal immigration can respond to this with your opinions as well.

What about Russians who our government gives vouchers to live here and have a nice home and nice cars, and then I see them down the street at the salvation army getting food. Oh and watch out in the grocery store cause you will be pushed out of the way. All they do is sit at home on their a**.

we Americans let the foreigners, who pop up here from time to time, know that this isn't a serious forum. Most of them seem to be getting the idea that we hate each other and the world. They don't seem to get the notion that Americans entertain themselves in odd ways.
That fact is, the rest of the world doesn't seem to have a sense of humor. Y!A is like laser tag. They don't get it though.
