Former U.S. Army Lieutenant and candidate for Congress in Vermont, Dennis Morrisseau, today called for the arrest of President Bush and Vice President Cheney by the American military "if necessary" to prevent an unauthorized attack upon the nation of Iran. He said "American forces are apparently already active inside Iran, and Naval forces have received orders to deploy to that country," Morrisseau said. "The President has NO AUTHORITY to attack the nation of Iran whatsoever, in the absence of a full, formal Declaration of War on Iran by the sitting Congress."

I dont know, the Us has started an amazing amount of wars but lets look at the facts.... The superpower of the world is being run by a man that had C's in school. He was put into cabinint even though his oponent won the first time... Us television is monitered by the Us governement. What happened to vote of the people if that vote doesn't even matter? Lots of peoples lives our torn apart in afganistan every day, im not saying there not doing good over there, Im saying that there are people that are doing bad. But Id just like to point out that the Bushes where close friends with the Bin ladens and during 911 flew them out of the country, Also there are no wepons of mass destruction and when a women who had lost her son waited outside of george bushes residency and asked him for a reason for the war he ignored her. Acts of violence only encourage more violence. This is war, and no matter what the reason this is one of the dumbest wars in history and it amazes me how people believe that this war that is shifting from reason to reason as to why it should exist is a war people are dying for. But there cause thats worth fighting for, but they need to stop inforcing it by violence or there plan will surely fail. But no matter what the reason war is wrong.... people are so stupid WHY CANT THEY JUST PUT DOWN THERE GUNS?! this worls is SOOO ********** up

As a former military officer he should know better! The president has the right to declare an Act of War for 90 days without congressional approval. Also, you cannot "arrest" the sitting president and vice president. You can bring a vote of impeachment in front of the house. Also, the Military cannot conduct those actions. It would be equivalant to a Military coup like the one that happened in Thailand a few weeks ago. As commander in Chief he is the militaries boss. As a former Lt. He should know that too. Don't be so gullible.
