I live with my uncle. I'm about to report on him for animal abuse. However there's a quite good chance he will find out it's me. I know if he find out it was me he would try to hurt me physically. I'm 22 years old and I have lived with him for almost two months. The problem is I know if the fight start, one of two things will happen:

-both of us will get hurt really bad. My uncle hit really hard (I know from seeing a huge bruise on a person face from my uncle's punch) and I'm a amateur boxer/muay thai fighter

-one of us will probably end up in hospital if it turn out to be one side fight

I'm asking because I have heard that law consider using martial arts as a assault. However I know that if my uncle decide to try hurt me out of rage (he have NEVER hurt me but I won't be surprise if he does out fo rage) he will try to hurt me as much as he could.

So what will happen if fight break out between us and police get involve?

Today is the second day. The boy's head still has a bump. After the incident, the neighbor filed a police report and used the tape of the surveillance camera. There has been very bad feelings between the two families for a year over the issues of the neighbor's remodeling plan. It is very obvisou that the neighbor is using this incident to get revenge. The police said to the neighbor that the reason my son through the rock is because of his father's hatred and that my son is a victim. what kind of legal grounds does the neighbor has against my son in this case? What should I do to protect my son? What can the neighbor do to my son's father? Is there case for criminal or civil law suit? I am separated from my husband and am not involved in the feuding. Can anyone please help answer these questions?

I have been living with my uncle for almost two months now. Ever since I moved in, he have been pretty curel to his dog. He never pet it, show it any love, play with it, or anything. However I keep tell myself I will report it in a few months so my uncle won't suspicous it's me that report him. However in last 2 weeks, he have been getting very abusive toward it. He often pick it up by neck nape and throw it against wall or pin it down and spank it repeatly for few minutes, or kick it in head repeatly. It's steadily getting worse, I'm deaf and I can feel the vibrate on the wall and floor when he abuse it.

This is ENOUGH! I can't stand it any more. However I'm really scare if I report it they will ask for my name and address (it's mandatory in other state where I live in past) and they will tell him who report him. If he find out, I will be in HUGE trouble.

Also other problem is I don't know if the neighbors can hear all of abuse going on. I'm too scare to ask any of them because

If you showed up at a nice restaurant & had money to pay for dinner, yet they had no available tables because they were all full, would you insist that you had the same right to eat there as everyone else, even tho you had no reservation? Would you cram extra tables into the restaurant and seat yourself in front of the others who were patiently waiting before you came in, and would you demand to be waited on there, or would you put your name on the waiting list and wait your turn like everyone else?

did the people of america get asked by it's government if it was ok to go to war in Iraq, or is it just acting like they accuse the Chinese of doing, being a military dictatorship and do as they want to? seems to me they should have had a vote on it if it is a true democracy yes or no?

My Husband is an officer in the Army of the 1st CAV div. Armor brach. He is a tank platoon leader, and he just found out in a matter of 2 days that his deployment was moved from Dec. 06 to Nov 15 06, to Nov 05 06, now to the end of Oct 06. He said that by going sooner rather than later they're going to Bagdhad instead of some other place I can't remember the name of. He "tells" me it is one of the "better" and "safer" places to deploy to now. But, I hear so many bad things about Bagdhad. Is he just saying these things to me to make me feel better, because I'm really scared and sad.

Should we strenthen our borders to keep illigal aliens out? How can people find it racist to keep illegals out? We have been too weak on our border policy for decades now we trying to do something about it and everyone is up at arms. This is not new we are just doing what we should have been doing all along.

I agree that America is on the wrong track, but England and
France certainly do not have much room to lecture Americans
about intelligence, morality, or politics. We've only been
in the Colonialism business for about two or three years.
England and France did it for centuries. You may think "blood
for oil" sounds bad, but try "blood for opium" which England
and France did to the Chinese. Later the French aggressively
engaged in opium smuggling in Southeast Asia, which was really
the mainstay of the Vietnam conflict. Ever heard of the
Golden Triangle? If not, ask the French. They're experts on
the subject.

Regarding China, the British and the French forced China to
import opium during two opium wars in the 19th Century, which
created an enormous addiction problem in China. And I have
little doubt that the war in Afghanistan--a war which
incidentally John Kerry completely endorsed--is another
"blood for opium" deal. But where do you suppose America
picked up such nasty habits? England and France are the
teachers and America is merely the student.

Regarding the Vietnam War, if you want to blame the original
troublemaker for that conflict, a large share of the blame must
be given to France. They created the situation by not giving
Vietnam its freedom, and by exploiting and profiteering from
the illicit sale of opium from that region. America made a mistake by
liberating France from Nazi Germany in WWII, because in doing
so, we oppressed Vietnam and the other countries under French
occupation. Sure, France has become more "enlightened"
towards war and human rights in recent years, but only after
Hitler kicked the living shitt out them. So yes, America is
on the wrong track because we've gotten into the business of
Colonial occupation. But we certainly do not need a lecture
from the people who practically invented it, namely England and
France.

Here's the delema. A couple, married in Texas; the wife leaves and goes to Florida. Enrolls their 2 children in school.... The father desperately wants his kids back. In Texas, a husband can not kidnap his kids, theirs nothing the cops can do... He's has thought about going to the school and getting them, but she probably put a note saying that he is not allowed to pick them up. This woman does not need these kids... trust me. She has already gotten her other children (from a previous man) taken away for child molestation. What should the father do? Should he go to the school and "kidnap" the kids? He doesnt want the mother to be involved much (she's a lunatic). Court process are long, and he fears that she will "disappear" and leave no trace next time. Should he alert the authories and get the kids from school with them there? He doesnt know where his kids are, the only thing he knows is the school they are enrolled in. Where can I find laws about this stuff, and what do you suggest?
