I have been living with my uncle for almost two months now. Ever since I moved in, he have been pretty curel to his dog. He never pet it, show it any love, play with it, or anything. However I keep tell myself I will report it in a few months so my uncle won't suspicous it's me that report him. However in last 2 weeks, he have been getting very abusive toward it. He often pick it up by neck nape and throw it against wall or pin it down and spank it repeatly for few minutes, or kick it in head repeatly. It's steadily getting worse, I'm deaf and I can feel the vibrate on the wall and floor when he abuse it.

This is ENOUGH! I can't stand it any more. However I'm really scare if I report it they will ask for my name and address (it's mandatory in other state where I live in past) and they will tell him who report him. If he find out, I will be in HUGE trouble.

Also other problem is I don't know if the neighbors can hear all of abuse going on. I'm too scare to ask any of them because

they may will come and try to talk with my uncle and my uncle will know it's me.

I run a good risk of getting kick out or he will try to hurt me if he find out I was involve in anything.

Also few people told me that my uncle have special certificate that state the dog is hearing dog so it make it very hard for animal contorl to take dog away.

So how do I report this? He usually abuse the dog in the house where no one but I can see it. I dont know how loud it get and if anyone else in neighbor can hear. The dog doesn't appear hurt so far. However I'm really scare that it could end up dead soon if I don't do something to report the dog.

Oh and no, let it run away won't work. My uncle keep very close eyes o it so he will know foul play was involve if it disappear.

I hope someone can help, this is really bothering me.

Excuse me... Me a coward? I'm already taking huge risk even thinking and trying to plan this. What if law get involve, my uncle end up keep dog and I got kick out? No one else will ever know what happen. That mean dog will suffer for next 10 years or so. So I have only one shot to get it done right.

It's nice to know that your FEAR and worry for your OWN well being is preventing you from saving this poor dog. You coward. Shame on you. Grow a pair and report your uncle and STAND UP and ADMIT YOU DID IT. Be a man.

When he's finished with the dog are you sure you won't be next anyway? Time to get involved, you should be able to go to the SPCA and report this and not have to worry about them being more interested in who you are than what the problem is. I have reported people in the past and never was I questioned on who I was, what my involvement was and why I was there. That is not their mandate. So get up and do what needs to be done.

Write or type a letter about suspicious animal cruelty and put it in his mailbox, so that when he reads it, he will become a little nervous. Just make sure that in the letter, you say its annonymous and its been seen and or heard from across the street, or something like that. See if that scares him into stopping, if not just call the police. After all, should a dog live a miserable and painful life just because you are to afraid? Wouldn't you want someone to save you if you were being abused?

Just report it to the proper authorities. If you don't stand up for the dog, no one will.

Just go to the nearest police station, or police car, and make a report, they won't tell him who reported him.

You have to be brave. Either call annonimously, or be strong enough to speak up for someone who can't, because it can only see true loyalty and give pure love. It is not in his code...
