I used this term in an email to manager simply to describe my envronment. HR started doing flips. Apparently employees are legally protected from this. They are jumping to address some of the underlying issues that they have been told about for several months, presumably to protect themselves against this "claim". However, based on my research there are a few things that must be there to meet hostile environment standard:
1. Its been going on for awhile - not just single incident
2. manager knew about it and nothing concrete was done
3. a reasonable person in the same situation would decide the situation was hostile
4. it directly impacts employees ability to perform their job.

Guess what? My situation fits this to a tee. I have documented proof of all the above.

What do I do now??? While they are running around trying to hurry fix it while they are denying it. I have endured this situation for 5months!!!!

In the USA is celebrated " El Cinco de Mayo " The day to celebrates Mexico and the mexican people in the USA. But, do you know why is so celebrated even more than Independence day ( September 16th or Revolution day Nov 20)?.
It is because Mexican Conservatives of that era were Nazis.
French, Germans, Austrians, Hungarians, Spainards and even Rusians. Mexico was a wealthy counrry with wealthy economy.
But Mexicans defeated French apoleonic Nazi troops.
With a little help of their american friends.
That's why.

I havent been called for dury duty or anything but i was just wondering what are the ways you can get out of dury duty?is there any other way other than medical reasons or you knowing the defendant.i would not like it one bit if i was called up for jury duty.it is completely against my morals to judge someone and i have hang ups about the law.i just think its weird.i thought it was against the law to make someone do something against their will.how do they justify it.

hi, if i get married on vacation in new jersey, can the marriage liscence be turned down as iam on holiday, and only there on avisa,? and will the justice of peice marry usa or do they have no legalities over this? i do plan to return home to england after my stay and file for the k-3 and go through the corect procedures as i have my daughter back home,when i spoke to the marriage liscence office over the fone in new jersey, all she mentioned was about where i was going to reside , i told her in new jersey eventually ,but going back to England to file for my visa.why would she ask that>??????????..lol or am i just being paranoid!??

Because Mexicans represent 50% of the illegals here in the U.S. -- HALF FROM JUST ONE COUNTRY!!! That means the other 50% come from every other country combined. Fact is, we're getting flooded with way too many Mexicans ... the majority of new arrivals make no attempt to speak English whatsoever. It's time to make the system fair for people that want to immigrate from Europe, Russia, Africa and heck, even South America. Mexicans can just walk right across the desert and into the U.S., an African can't swim or raft his way 7000 miles across the Atlantic. I understand Mexico's a poor country but what about the poor people in Rwanda, Chechnya, Cambodia, Romania, Darfur and so forth. I actually hope that idiot Obrador succeeds in starting some kind of civil unrest in Mexico because it'll force the U.S. government to pay some real attention to the Mexican border in order to keep the swarm out. We're getting too way too many Mexicans; let's give others a chance at the American Dream as well.

1. Why are the majority of people who think this Latino?

3. I came here with my family from Mexico legally, but unlike some I was raised to assimilate and take pride in my new country, by speaking its language and working to make it better, so why do people think just because of my background I should support open borders?

Why do people always bring up "but this country was founded on immigrants..." yeah, that was 200 years ago when we actually needed citizens, now this country is suffering massive wage cuts, tax increases, lower standard of living, more diseases like TB, larger classrooms, and higher crime due to illegal immigration, so your outdated reference is nonsense.

5. Why do people always bring up "This country was originally blahblah's then you stole it?" Look throughout history, most major countries were stolen! Stop living in the past and get a real argument.

The situation in Thailand got me wondering, A.) who controls the military in countries where a coup has taken place, B.) could that ever happen in the U.S., and C.) how is our government set up differently from theirs if it COULDN'T happen here?

I think they have the right to exist. But maybe other cultural, religious, or ethnic groups have that right too!!!!

All depends the piont of view yo approach, but we all humans, and we all deserve to live in peace and mutual respect.
