In the USA is celebrated " El Cinco de Mayo " The day to celebrates Mexico and the mexican people in the USA. But, do you know why is so celebrated even more than Independence day ( September 16th or Revolution day Nov 20)?.
It is because Mexican Conservatives of that era were Nazis.
French, Germans, Austrians, Hungarians, Spainards and even Rusians. Mexico was a wealthy counrry with wealthy economy.
But Mexicans defeated French apoleonic Nazi troops.
With a little help of their american friends.
That's why.
What do u think?

Mexico is a country of many cultures. There are many races there just as they are here in the US. Some people have dark hair, some blond hair, some dark eyes, some blue eyes. It depends on the region of Mexico they come from. There are also many forms of Spanish spoken there.

Well 5 de Mayo is not even the actual day of Independence in Mexico in fact its on Septemebr 15. Cinco de Mayo is the Mexican victory over the French in the Battle of Puebla. I don't believe it had anything to due with the American's helping the Mexican's. I think its just another excuse to get drunk!!! As Saint Patricks day is celebrated as well.

Mexicans are a nationality, not an ethnic group or race. Most mexicans are mestizos(indian/european mix), some are pure Indian. The ruling classes of Mexico have always been white- Castillanos- those of predominantly white Spaniard roots.

Mexican is a nationality, not a race; 5 de mayo is a holiday invented by the US in order to sell more beer, I don't think there's the same kind of hoopla down in mexico as it is here compared to the sep. 16 holiday, i don't even think mexians celebrate 5 de mayo period

The Mexican population is primarily native-American with a sprinkling of this and that here and there. Ditto with Central & South America. No surprise - earth has long been mongrolized. The last pureblood left earth just a few years back - E.T.

Nah. Most Mexicans hell nearly all of them are a racial mix of European (Spanish) and Native Indian) Most of them are like 60% plus native indian and would easily qualify for Indian status in Canada or the US if they were anglos.
