Nice guy, good convictions, is running the country during arguably the worse time to be president since WWII. Now some might point to other nations and leaders and say "there..." why can't Bush be more like him..." but are these guys the Leader of the Free World? Or are they mere palyers concerned more with domestic affairs in an era where international affairs has overwhelmed most leaders including those of the EU and UN?
Doesn't matter who you get in the White House, the days of the Chief Executive being a domestic babysitter for Americans getting the odd hummer from an aide on the side while the world burns is over. From now on they are gonna have to make tough choices about the world beyond America, and their mistakes are gonna be huge and magnified for everyone to see. So tell that to the Dixie Chicks ... that is if one of those brods is lookin' at running in '08.
