i have never understood why people think illegals can get welfare. there are americans who think the more kids they have the more money the government will give them for their name brand clothes, and drugs and everything. people who come here illegally just want to make a better life for their children by working harder and going out before the sun even comes up to do jobs others are to lazy to do

No your records do not need to be checked into, and the way I look at it, if there child is born in USA then it should get the same help as any other American living in this country. And if you want to be pissed off at anyone let it be the government. They have let this welfare crap get out of hand. for all races' and that means the white people to.
Now I am white and an American and I think that people need to stop blaming everything on the Mexicans. Let's face it there is alot of lazy whites, blacks, etc. And i think that white people need to stop thinking that everything is Black, and Mexican that live off the system.. Because that is not so. I deal with it everyday.. At work. And yes if they are not legal they do not get the help like they once did.

Just because the laws may say an illegal can not receive welfare does not mean that they do not receive assistance...they go to our emergency rooms for frivolous reasons...the taxpayers foot the bill, the elderly illegals receive social security benefits even though they never paid into the system, they are filling our prisons...which also is paid for by American taxpayers, their children (even those not born here) are given free educations, free lunches, usually free breakfast too, along with eye care, dental work and medical care. they are a drain on our economy...they should all be deported now.

Who are you trying to convince? Is it a coincidence that I see so many large Mexican families in the grocery stores buying their groceries with food stamps? I don't think so. Any time you drive by the welfare dept., you ALWAYS see Mexicans there. You need to take your own advice and check your "resources" (actually its 'sources') before YOU MAKE STUPID STATEMENTS.

Illegals may not be living off welfare (by getting a check) but their children are. They are taking away resources in Medicaid, WIC and SS benefits if the child is handicapped.
This is a direct result in an increase in insurance premiums that all hardworking legal citizens pay to assist in covering the cost.
So YES they are Living off of hardworking citizens.

Too shay baq2calli.

The illegal criminal is living off of us like leeches.

Currently, an alien living illegally in the United States often pays no taxes but receives unemployment, welfare, free medical care and other federal benefits. Our federal wallet is stretched to the limit by illegal aliens getting welfare, food stamps, medical care and other benefits often without paying any taxes.

Reene the Anchor Babies Born In The USA are not citizens. there is an Abuse of the
14th Amendment going on now.

Senator Jacob Howard, co-author of the citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment, stated in 1866, "Every Person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States. This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons."

It couldn't be clearer, children of foreigners, aliens or diplomats, who are subject to the jurisdiction of their home country, are ineligible for citizenship. At the time the Fourteenth Amendment was ratified we didn't have immigration laws. One hundred and thirty eight years later we are paying for the misinterpretation of it.

Most European countries have done away with birthright citizenship because they experienced the same abuses we are seeing. The Irish Supreme Court recently ruled that immigrant parents could be deported even if they have an Irish child. "It was becoming common for single pregnant woman, to come to Ireland from countries outside the 15-nation EU, most frequently from Nigeria, to claim political asylum," states Shawn Pogatchnik, AP writer. Ireland saw a wave of immigration abuse and promptly put a stop to it. Recently, the Irish voted to end birthright citizenship. Britain and Australia both changed their citizenship laws in the 1980's for the same reasons. If you are born in Switzerland you will not automatically become a Swiss citizen. Why should Americans allow our country to be invaded by people who do not honor allegiance to our laws?

While illegals aren't eligible for Federal welfare legally it can and is obtained illegally by many illegals. They also can get assistance's from city's and states,in the form of cash for utilities, food, clothing and rent. The costs of the illegal here in Arizona is enormous

Analysis of the latest Census data indicates that Arizona’s illegal immigrant population is costing the state’s taxpayers about $1.3 billion per year for education, medical care and incarceration. Even if the estimated tax contributions of illegal immigrant workers are subtracted, net outlays still amount to about $1.3 billion per year. The annual fiscal burden borne by Arizonans amounts to more than $700 per household headed by a native-born resident.

That's one of the reasons illegals must be deported, and barred from coming to this country

And you should think a minute as to what people mean when they say "welfare". Welfare is any government assistance. I just filled out Medi-Cal forms again yesterday. There are several pages for finding out peoples home country, language, preferences, special needs, etc and all only apply to immigrants. They even have special Medi-cal, which is welfare for people to go to the doctor. If they don't have their papers, etc, they can get a special kind of Medi-Cal that allows them to go to county. We don't get that. If we go to county and are actually seen, we get billed like rich people. 80% of the people in the clinics etc are immigrants. Mostly Mexican. Most on some sort of welfare. They are threatening to take away my Medi-Cal because I was denied SSI. I'm disabled, but they routinely deny all middle aged white citizens. No special Medi-Cal for me. I was disabled enough to get Medi-Cal in the first place, and still have all those disabilities, yet the second I'm denied under one program, all the programs deny me. It's been this way for years. That's why I have some of the problems I have. Permanent damage from medical neglect. They wouldn't dare deny someone of another race the way they do me, and like I said, immigrants have special Medi-Cal reserved just for them. They aren't collecting this resource from the rich. It's being taken from poor AMericans, especially white people like me.
You need to get educated before you blast Americans for defending their own country, benefits, jobs and free speech. And no, this isn't really Mexico.

You are the stupid one, babe. The fed govt requires all local school districts to provide translaterors and classroom seats to ANY child who is presented at the beginning of the school year. In Tennessee, there is one small town that had 800 local students in its schools three years ago. Today, there are 1600 and the added 800 are all children of illegals. The district will have to raise property taxes and a number of American families will have to sell their homes because of the increased taxes that they cannot pay.

Check out your emergency room at your local hospital. Illegals are bad with knives and guns--many are criminals on the run.

Check out your local sewage treatment plants. They were built for a population based on the last census. Instead they are having to expand to treat up to 30 percent additional crap because of the hidden population that is living 8 to the room in trailers and rental units.

Food stamps, commodities, even college tuition--the illegals are sponging on all of it AND WITHOUT THE FIRST DIME OF CONTRIBUTION to the funding.

You are one totally ignorant broad and you can keep your ten points. Give them to some illegal since you are so supportive of them. And I dont read email from here so save your time on that as well.

Aid to families of dependant children is child based not adult based and many state programs are based on income not immigration status.

Also, some collect with false ID.

However, even without welfare, they are ruining health care and schools by their sheer numbers. That is why we limit how many poor immigrants can come. We have to subsidize poor people, and the funds to educate our own children not only have to be stretched to cover theirs, theirs are much more expensive to educate, due to language issues. Take a look at LAUSD. Thirty years ago it was one of the best school districts in the nation, now it is one of the worst.
