This country is filled with some of the stupid people I have ever seen in my short life. I mean really I can not believe how many people still support the President. I am heartened by the ones who have seen the light however. How are you just okay with illegal wiretapping? Saying I have nothing to hide so I dont have to worry, does not make it ok!! Its wrong! Why do you take this? Why dont you demand better from your leaders and hold them accountable? God why you just blindly support this mans so called war on terror? Do you really think you are safer now than ten years ago?

Here's the facts...
Bush has repeatedly broken the constitution and lied to the American people whenever he saw it fit. he has angered the UN and many new middle eastern nations. he thinks just because he runs the country that he completely and utterly runs everything. this is shown by the civil liberties he took away from us with the issuing of the Patriot Act and the phone-tapping. he apparently believes his presidential power is unlimited. he thinks he is protecting us but our borders are still wide open. and he says God himself told him to invade Iraq. LOL!!!
maybe these articles can enlighten some uninformed people who disagree with me.

Seriously what does he have to do before you are like ok thats it, you so crossed the line with that. Would you be okay with a camera shoved up your *** in the interest of keeping you safe? Would you be okay with all your phone calls being monitored to keep you safe? Where do you draw the line?

And it cost over $300 to fix it. I later found out my father did it one night. He said he wasn't drinking but it was because we had gotten into a big argument a while back. I keyed up his car in return and now he wants to take me to court, what should I do?

Our elderly neighbor says she has very sensitive ears, and my BF's music is too loud. Her daughter came to our door and got quite nasty with my BF. He really dosent play it that loud. He also does not want to use headphones all the time. We are not breaking local or association regulations, but I do not want more problems with neighbors than I have already had(dog problems with another neighbor allowing their dog to poop in our yard every day) Moving is not an option.

We now know why the Bush administration hasn't made the capture of Osama bin Laden a paramount goal of the war on terror. Emphasis on bin Laden doesn't fit with the administration's strategy for combating terrorism. So what exactly is this goal?

Here's how President Bush explained this Tuesday: "This thing about . . . let's put 100,000 of our special forces stomping through Pakistan in order to find bin Laden is just simply not the strategy that will work."

so what exactly will work, what is our "end state", how will we win, and when can we bring our troops home to protect our Nation? There are at present Zero brigades that are mission ready.

I just wonder why the far left speaks about President Bush like he is such a big idiot, when Bill Clinton is the hero of the liberals,and he and George Bush have become such close political allies. Also, why is it that the far left seems to alway go into temper-induced rants about the president instead of trying to make sense of what he is doing? Instead, they just scream and whine and freak out.
It is just my opinion that if you can't at least understand why the president is doing what he is doing, then you are just another extremist. I want some constructive criticism here, not just a wild tantrum. Isn't moderation the key?

i dont get how people actually could Support ILLEGAL immigrants? illegal Duh? do you support other illegal activities? i welcome foreigners into USA if they just learn my language so i'm not required to learn frikkin spanish to order a taco at their private owned restaurants. GET a green card, and become LEGAL. they come here illegal for a reason dont you think? what are they hiding. illegals are part of the minorities in this country that fill up our jails, oh well i guess i'm talking to myself.

I admit this is a reach. I recall a quotation from a noted personality (I was thinking Oppenheimber, but not sure..maybe V. Bush) given before a Congressional committee in the 50's defending some authorization bill. I'm trying to confirm who said it and what the actual quote was.

The conversation goes something like...

Congressman: "Why should the US, the greatest nation in the world, spend money on museums, universities, and cultural activies given that we face this enormous threat from the Communists?"

Respondent: "Because it is exactly those institutions that make us the greatest nation in the world".

While living on the UT campus in Knoxville, The people under me where having a party, the cops came, and the turned it down. Next door, a kid with blue hair (skater) had a small radio in his window, the cops made a big deal out of it, and when he smarted off, I heard them say take him to 12th st. (I was on my pourch in the shadows and they could not see me) I thought they ment a paddy wagon. The next night, I awoke to the street full of cops. The kid had gotton a gun, and him and 3 friends had been drinking all night, playing his little radio loud and he was waiting for the cops. He accedently shot himself in the head. The other said he was beat up the night before by the cops and was gonna get them. On the news it said he accused them, but, no police record was made of him being arrested that night. I have kept quite about this, but now I wonder, should I say something? It has weighed on me for so long. And I am not a cop hater, I respect them, well most of them.
