Does the Bush Administration have innocent people arrested so they can claim that another terrorist attack has been stopped? What do you think?

I don't think they do that, but I do think their lack of understanding of local situations in both Iraq and Afghanistan has led to them picking up people who are innocent. They have believed locals who've said this person is an jihadi or such and then reward them with cash, the locals being more interested in the cash than what happens to the innocent person.

This happened to some of my countrymen who ended up at Camp X-Ray when they had never done a thing. Others there of course were/are not innocent.

Oh I think we've gotton lucky in averting some attacks. I worry as the Homeland Security Bureau grows larger and larger it will grow less and less effective, as info gets lost in the buracy

Wonder what lines Hitler and Stalin used. Sure hope one great document is strong enough to get us through this period before another name gets added to beginning list.

I think anything is possible when it comes to the Bush administration.

I trust things they say as far as I can throw them.

I doubt it very much, those innocent people have family and friends and the fact they would be arrested without reason would easily found out by everyone...
