2 Polish nationals plead guilty to 'leasing' illegal workers
Two Polish nationals pleaded guilty Wednesday to leasing out illegal immigrants from eastern Europe to work on U.S. farms, dairies and factories, prosecutors said. A third was sentenced to prison a year after pleading guilty to similar federal charges.
Jaroslaw Sawczuk, 39, and Jozef Bronislaw Bogacki, 43, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Kenneth Marra to federal charges of fraud and conspiracy to transport, house and otherwise encourage illegal aliens to remain in the United States.
Pavel Preus, 39, pleaded guilty to similar charges in September 2005. Marra sentenced him to 37 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. Preus was also ordered to pay $950,000 for unpaid payroll taxes.

How come the government can afford 320 billion for a war on foreign soil, but it can't come up with the money to rebuild a city here? My son was just sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections and I have so many questions. I wish I knew someplace to ask my questions and talk to others who have children inside prison. It's so hard to get information from the prison system and it's very confusing. Do you know anyplace I can go for answers and some support from others, especially those with family in IDOC. I don't even know where to begin. Please help me.
