Very well put, and thorough. I really can't think of much to add.
Government should limit itself to only the powers of the Constitution unless that means limiting frivolous spending, or taking citizens rights away one by one.
Many (conservatives) are angry with your truthful question, but as I see it, the narrow-minded cannot admit truth even when they see it right before their eyes. Denial is a powerful tool for the weak. They see ignorance as bliss, they follow their leader like lemmings, and sheep. When the truth finally smacks them down, they can have the excuse that temporary insanity kept them from seeing it coming.

Drug addiction is not moral, however, attacking innocent civilians is a moral issue, and a president whom cheats on his wife is a moral issue. Limbaugh, who bought prescription drugs, while simultaneously put down crack and heroin addicts is a moral issue and it is not at the same time. addicion is a disease and a REAL addict always points the finger at others' shortcomings!!!!
Conservative people seem more liberal than the supposed liberals, who always protest.
What is the point. Cant change the world!!!!!

now... here's an interesting question...
does lucky2's comments hold more true for liberals or does Remy D's hold more true for conservatives...
it seems to me that I don't know any liberals that believe half the stuff on lucky2's list (I'm sure there are some, but I don't know any)... but I do know several conservatives that believe over half of what Remy D's list said..
granted, I live in the south, so perhaps my views are skewed by a larger number of conservatives to choose from...
I've heard many Republicans in congress discuss many of the issues in Remy D's post... but I've only heard a few democrats talk about the issues in lucky2's post...

For those too lazy to read the above, it comes down to one word: hypocricy
Republicans and Democrats are guilty of many of the same evils, but it's the Republicans who act high and mighty about it.
In short, with Republicans, it is always the SIN, plus HYPOCRICY
that's the difference.
BTW, loved the question/statement

Being an American and thnkfully having freedom of speech you are intitled to your opinion and to voice it. Everyone is. People in high places as well even though we don't agree. That doesn't mean that they were right or wrong. We as Americans don't have to agree or keep our selves silent.

You have to believe the free market that gives us 500+ channels can't deliver the quality that PBS does.
