Great Rudy!! Yes indeed. It actually started 1846 and ended in 1848. Well it was purchased in 1848. If it was fought AND purchased then this land belongs to the U.S.A. Im opposed to people that think otherwise. I feel that its comparing to the Palestinians nowdays eventhough Israel has fought and won many battles for their country, the Palestinians still believe is their land. As a matter of fact that was my very first question ever here in Yahoo anwsers.

Bring Back Democracy, thats how all lands have been aquired unfortunately through war. Besides at the end Texas was purchased for more thatn 26 Million dollars. Every country that has been aquired throughout time the people still have some type of recentment towards the country that conquered it.

Ahhh, Volley ball chick it has to do with immigration because in case you havent heard about certain people claiming that Texas was stolen from Mexico which is not true. And yes it was Sept. 13 not 14. I still like you though, even though youre a bimbo.

It regards the US conquest of Mexico. Yet another belligerent act of invading other peoples countries by the USA.
Chapultepec castle outside Mexico city fell on September 13th, 1846.
George Bush would have been proud to have defeated the 'terrorists' (if that excuse had been invented then)
The United States War on Mexico of 1846-1848 was the first U.S. war of aggression against a sovereign nation

In Wisconsin, Carroll College opened it's doors. What does that have to do with illegal immigration??
If you are speaking of the treaty that was signed, stating that US had Texas to the Rio Grande, and got New Mexico and California in exchange for $15 million and paying all of the US citizens debts to the Mexican Government, that was done on Sept. 14, 1846. Today is only the 13th.
But that means that we paid for the land, fair and square, even after kicking Mexican's asses in a war.

How many Albertos are there?! So some castle fell, is that it?
All of your ID's, answers and questions are insulting racist, sexist nonsense. But you know that. So why you teaching Mexican history anyway? Do you really think we will be second or in the case of women third class Mexican citizens in Texas, California, etc.? Because we will fight. And if we lost (won't happen) we'd leave. None of us are going to fall for this BS bad Mexican text book nonsense.
