I need a honest truthfull opinion from true people in citys and what they don't like about that city and the way its ran. Anything basically works but think realistically please. Laws, goverment issues, security, or anything else you can think of.

Good affordable transit is needed by all cities, and by affordable, I mean free. People in cars can pay for that privelege through fuel taxes, insurance, parking, etc. but let the rest of us benefit from the less-cars ideal and make transit free!

I know there are cities in the world that have free systems set up in them (generally because everyone is so poor it has to be that way) but I can't think of any specific places right now.

Revive street car systems or think up new improved versions.

And please, good sturdy bus shelters with no more than half the roof transparent for the sun seekers and at least half opaque, so on hot days we don't BBQ ourselves while waiting.

The city I live in removed all the bus stop benches and has taken five years (so far) to slowly put in new benches, which seem to be designed primarily to maximize ad space. Yeah, thanks. (Heavy sarcasm.) Some stops appear to be benchless for good. No doubt somebody in planning thinks there is a good reason (discouraging drunks and homeless from using them on disreputable corners?) But while I can sit on the ground if I have to when exhausted, what are the bent over little old ladies supposed to do?

Also, the new benches seem to be much narrower. I think its probably to stop people sleeping on them. Well, a bench too uncomfortable to sleep on is not very comfy to SIT on either.

Transit for people, not ads. Transit for poor people, for everyone, even tired drunk bums!!! . that's all, thanks for the platform!

I would change myself.

I would get better behavior. I would show more respect. More patience and more tolerance.

Not to say I am not doing the best I can now, but some have to compensate for the others......

The ONLY problem in a city is the people that makes it. .

You wanna have a huge parking lot? You built streets....
You wanna attract richs? You bullsh.....well......

I learn how to be a better human being everyday......

Put everything in English. That way everyone would have to learn the same language. I did so I don't understand why people don't want to learn english if they live here. We speak our native language in the privacy of our own home. I think it is disrespectful to speak anything but english in public. I am proud to be a LEGAL IMMIGRANT of this country. But I do think everyone should have to learn & speak english

The town council

They are in a rut , all have held office for years. In that time we have lost businesses and people. Houses that have burnt still stand as there are no ordinances on the books to remove them. I could go on but it would take all night.
