I want to pay but have limited income, long term payments. Need passport for crossing border on daily basis

have to check with the state department. they make the rules on passports and have to follow the law. if you have questions, contact them at travel.state.gov or call them at 1-877-487-2778. if that doesnt work, try you senator or congressman's office.

Pay your child support and get passport back. Don't understand why you need to cross border every day unless you're a drug dealer. Get a job on this side of the border.

well I only know how it works here in Maine and their are two ways you could go about getting it back one is make sure your current payments are being made and set up a payment plan for your back child support and if you cant afford to pay because of a legit reason other then sheer laziness you need to go to court and file a motion to modify and here in Maine you have to owe over $5000 before they take your passport so this is something you should have seen coming and could have taken care of long ago

I am glad that they caught you. If you would have paid your support payments on time you wouldn't be in this fix. You got yourself into this by neglecting your obligations now suffer. Your children probably have suffered because of your selfishness for years.
