My friend was arrested for attempting to steal anhydrous ammonia to manufacture crystal meth. She's sitting in jail right now and has a hearing on the 11th. The charges are Class 3 felonly. What most likely will be her sentence? Jail time? Drug Treatment and probation?

She's never been in trouble before, but in the past 4 months she got herself addicted to heroin and crystal meth and now hangs around a pretty rough bunch. Her family and I are wondering what are the chances of her going to prison/jail for any length of time?

that we have ever had. No, that's not true, there are no facts, it's just my feeling. Did you want to answer this question because you are a liberal and thought you had plenty to say about the FACTS?

SOCIAL SECURITY:

Our Senators and Congresswomen do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it.

You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt they should have a special plan for themselves. So, many years ago they voted in their own benefit plan.

In more recent years, no congressperson has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan.

For all practical purposes their plan works like this:

When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die.

Except it may increase from time to time for cost of living adjustments..

For example, Senator Byrd and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw $7,800,000.00 (that's Seven Million, Eight-Hundred Thousand Dollars), with their wives drawing $275, 000.00 during the last years of their lives.

This is calculated on an average life span for each of those two Dignitaries.

Maybe it's me. But I see a lot of liberals complaining that conservatives do nothing but bash them and a lot of conservatives who say likewise about liberals. Who do you think does more bashing and do you think your group is getting a bad rap?

My son was trying to extend his service in the Marines. They screwed up his paper work several times so he was unable to get a change of MOS that he wanted. Then he was denied an interview after more paperwork because the gunney didn't have time. He has no negative on his record, been to Iraq twice and they just called back a bunch of reserves. So now, he has to get out of the Marines and re-enlist to get a favorable MOS. He is a sargent and will remain one, but
he will lose his housing for at least 2 months while things are in limbo. His Coloniel was baffled yesterday but I guess there is nothing he can do either. Does this make sense to anyone? Only replies from those that know the military would be appreciated. No anti war political stuff please.

I am an Indian, woman. My father and mother died. I have only one brother now. I approached a lawer to get my share. He sent a notice that he is having a will written by my father and all the assets are belonging to him, as per the will. I know it is bogus will. How could I prove that it is a bogus will? What are steps I could take to defend and prove that it is bogus. What are the classes / schedules / rules that describes the penalty for intimidating with bogus will? Waiting for the reply.

Why do the (British) Police use different styles of truncheons/batons for different situations ? E.g normal patrol officers seem to use the extendable batons, transport cops have the large (nightstick) side handled ones, support cops have flick staffs, riot police have long thin cane -type batons. Why is is this ? Do police in other countries have different types ?

Was the 1993 WTC attack done by Bill Clinton in an effort to start a war to grab oil in the Middle East, or was it terrorists trying to attack America?

That's what I thought you would say.

So why are you saying such vile things about George W. Bush?
