A very good question that you can answer yourself.

When was the last time Israeli sent suicide bombers into a crowded Lebanon bus with school children, or a mall or a shopping area? Hezbollah uses monies to help the poor and feed the hungry and support hospitals and so forth... then they turn around and bomb and start a war and hide behind women and children? Do YOU REALLY think that Israel has no right to defend themselves?

Is YOUR hatred so great that you can't think beyond that? Look, instead of finding reasons to blame and point fingers, how about trying to find a solution for peace?

There are good and bad Israeli and good and bad Lebanese. Truthfully, I do not care about the politics that is going on in either country. I care for the suffering of the children and elderly and poor. Politicians are only vying for power and control of wealth. They are the parasites that are at fault, not the populace or the citizens or the children or the women or the elderly or disabled. Politicians use slogans and lies and nonsensical, distorted half-truths to instigate and stir hatred to stay in power and steal from the public coffers. Get real. Where's YOUR solution for peace?

Peace would come about in a matter of minutes if religious fanatics (both sides) would stay out of both countries.

For starters, Israel doesn't "murder" Palestinians. If anything, Arabs murder Israelis. Ever see an Israeli hijack an airplane, or strap a bomb to him/herself and detonate it on a schoolbus, or place their own munitions in a civilian neighborhood? Have the Palestinians offered to stop killing Israelis and return to the negotiating table? Or did the Palestinians just elect a group whose sworn goal is to destroy Israel and kill Jews? Has Israel ever issued a fatwa against those who disagree with her?

As to why the US backs Israel? Probably to prevent the Arabs from finishing Hitler's work.

It's so simple. If the Palestinians would refuse to fight, they'd have their state. If the Israelis would refuse to fight, there would be no more Israel.

The problem is not as easy as you think it is.

This is not a political problem and therefore it resists a political solution.

In short the USA backs Isreal because it has no choice.
It cannot back the Pals because they behavior on the world scene does not further the interests of the USA.

Now Murder is an interesting word.

I would consider walking into a shopping mall and setting off a bomb murder.. but I do not consider an errant artillary shell hitting a house murder.

No matter what you read USA is primarily a Christian nation in ideals.

Islam and Christianity cannot work together they are opposed as both say they are the only way to heaven.

Christianity accepts the Jews as the chosen people of GOD.

I think they should take the entire middle east region and turn it into a sea of glass! With the exception of Israel, But Iran, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Sudan, Pakistan, Palestine, Lebanon, all of um.......BOOM!! All gone......! No more Hateful, Spiteful, and vengeful Arabs! While we are at it, let's take out Venezuela too....Chavez is a piece of garbage!
All these oil producing countries got rich mostly because of the US. For them to turn around and use the money to fund terrorism? Are we stupid? Now that Venezuela is in coop with Syria, they'll be funding terrorism too!
What we need to do is use the alternative fuels we already have available and put these scumbags out of business.....No money for oil.......No funding for Hezbollah or Al Qaeda!
