There's no really quick way unless you're already admitted as a lawyer in another Common Law jurisdiction AND have a law degree from some Common Law country.
You could take the California Bar (and only that one) without going to law school, or by taking a correspondence course. But it is one of the hardest exams in the USA.
You really have to go to law school. Four years at night; three by day. Then a crash bar course, then the exam. With luck you'll pass the first time. More than half do. It took Vinnie (as in "My Cousin Vinnie") six times . . . but he went to a nonexistent law school.

There is no quick way. You have to take and pass the bar exam and that usually requires going to and graduating from a law school first. Some states still appoint Justices of the Peace without having to be a lawyer. If you stay there long enough, you can be appointed as a judge in that same state even though you didn't go to law school.

Requirements may vary by state. All States require that applicants for admission to the bar pass a written bar examination; most States also require applicants to pass a separate written ethics examination. This was at least five years ago, but I know of at least on instant where a person did not go to law school, took and passed the law exam and became a lawyer.
In most states, the formal requirements to become a lawyer generally include a 4-year college degree, 3 years of law school, and passing a written bar examination.

Be in the defense team when a Hollywood VIP kills someone. The public maybe hates you when another murder goes free but who cares, you will have proved your qualification.
