I work in law Enforcement as a Assistant Jail Administrator. This year we are losing our sheriff and we have 8 candidates running. One of the candidates in an open forum in the paper, stated that myself and the Jail administrator do not "know our jobs", are "Imcompetant", and that "do not do our jobs, or don't know what they are. This is in print. This creates a hostile work environment now that staff are talking about it as well as inmates. Any recourse at all??

I am a woman who recently got my spouse to uk with spousal visa. i would like to know if i can get job seekers allowance or go on the dole as i am pregnant and unemployed. i was told that my spouse or i could not receive any benefits for two years so i just wanted to know for sure what the law is regarding this..My husband is working but on a very low income.Please advise.Thanx

A Neutron bomb is an enhanced energy weapon.
IT IS NOT THE SAME AS A NUCLEAR BOMB.
Basically a neutron bomb delivers a megadose of nuetron radiation to its target WITHOUT the blast effect produced by a Nuclear bomb.

For example, if I used a nuetron bomb, it would kill every living thing in the blast radius BUT, it would leave the buildings intact - the radiation dissipates within a few days unlike the radioactive half life of thousands of years caused by nuclear bombs.
Its the kind of weapon you'd use against heavily armed/ armored bunkers or well entrenched enemies i.e, Hezbollah.
All you gotta do later is sweep up the bodies.

For all of you people who like to coment about my thoughts on seeing dead women and children...
What is the difference between CARPET BOMBING people and using a weapon like a Neutron-bomb?

The effect on the lives is the same...the only difference is, I haven't destroyed all the buildings and homes so its easier to rebuild later on.

I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business.

We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document; and open to their interpretations.

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.

I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn't stop you from watching them.

I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system that's better, and put your name on the building.

It doesn't take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a parent to stand up to the kid; and smack their little behinds when necessary, and say "NO!"

I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement. And, please, stay home until that new lip ring heals. I don't want to look at your ugly infected mouth as you serve me French fries!

I am sick of "Political Correctness." I know a lot of black people, and not a single one of them was born in Africa; so how can they be "African-Americans"? Besides, Africa is a continent. I don't go around saying I am a European-American because my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather was from Europe. I am proud to be from America and nowhere else

Was watching it and noticed that Jon Stewart plays devil's advocate to both sides. I've noticed that Jon Stewart also always his guests to answer the questions instead of shouting them down (ala Fox) or interrupting them with another question (like CNN).
