Because lots of people in the world, including George Bush, Jesus freaks, Mohammed freaks, Moses freaks, and Shiva freaks seem to feel that you would.

But I wouldn't. Hit me, and I will hit you back. Anyone would. So if this is true why on earth would we ever use violence, war, destruction to solve problems? If we are to get out of a cycle of revenge and retaliation, we must negotiate, not be violent. If I listen to you would you listen to me. Isn't TRUE courage not hitting back, but being willing to take it even while resisting in other ways?

Retaliation is a value you have successfully promoted by putting it into practice, always, Mr. Bush.

That was quoted from an open letter to Bush from an Arab girl (Mira Al Hussein, a UAE national writer based in Dubai).

My question is: Do you agree with the writer that Bush's administration attitudes evoke more anger and hate towards Americans and justify future retaliation?

The open letter could be accessed through this link: http://www.informationliberation.com/?id=14056

Barbra Streisand (aka babs) is officially calling for impeachment precedings against President Bush. Congress is withholding actions until they hear from Brittney Spears, Madonna & the Spice girls. Barbra made these remarks while speaking in Costa Meca on the issue of wasteful water use by the citizens. Watering lawns after 6 pm etc..however she failed to mention that her personal water use excedes $20,000 per month to run her mansion and the lovely fountains that adorn her gardens...it's okay because she is a do as I say..not as I do liberal.

your thoughts please?

If someone takes a picture of my home, do they own it or me? I do not understand how someone can take a picture with my house and without my permission and then use it in a magazine without asking me! Is this truly legal?

Less than a decade ago there was such hope for world peace and multiculturalism. No it seems sooo much distrust. As another poster brought up "divide and rule". Has this schism in hope for world peace been masterfully planned???

Do you think the TV lisence is a fare tax?
we are one of very few countrys that issue a tax on watching TV if not the only?
what we are paying for is the BBC when all the other chanels are free to watch as they pay for them selves through advertising.
The BBC is not an optional medium you have to pay for it even if you dont watch the BBC.
I think if they want us to pay for it then they should make it a subscription chanel not force us to pay for something that not everybody can afford.
The lisencing bourd are thinking of charging a lisence fee for a PC as more and more of us are getting TV channels through our PC?
What do you think to all this?
