Thats a tough one.... all he can do now is fess up if they ask or fess up now.... because if they find out and ask at the interview, it may not be good.....
i would suggest you hire an immigration lawyer or at least speak to one.... see what they suggest or can do.... b/c that can be minor or serious!!!
I am sorry to hear that.... but make sure you approach this right.... i would personally hire legal representation

is he applying for citizenship or resident status? You said he was fingerprinted for driving without a license, but what was he charged with? And yes he should inform the interviewing officer before the the interview starts as the officer will already be aware if he was arrested. If it was only a traffic violation he should not have a problem but if he presented a fasle identification to the police officer he will have problems.

Well, if you tried to burn them off, as your other question suggests, there will certianly be questions..

Honestly, Honesty is the best policy... It may keep your application for an extra month or two but running the risk that they find out, will guarantee they'll throw the forms back at you.

Good Luck

It takes less than five minutes to find his false FBI card. I saw a documentary how an 18 year old murder case was solved that way.

Once he's caught, he's done. He'll have to go to the church in Chicago to stay with the other criminal.
