America---do you realize there is so much demand to send american $$$ to mexico..............?

that the nations largest bank.....Bank of America.......has it as the fifth option on their 1-800 phone list?

call BofA's 800 phone number, the fifth option on the main menu asks........"do you want to send money to mexico?"...

you cant tell me the US has a HUUUUUGE problem with illegals.

Who here actually believes that if the govt did "Do their job" that the MinuteMen and Paul Revere Riders..etc

would NOT exist? And if the govt cant seem to "do their job" to your satisfaction...then how are they ever going to be able to pull off a task like a massive deportation???

correction on apartment vacate date?

Can my landlord give me 2 weeks notice to move out of my apt.?
I've been living there for 2 years, my rent has always been on time. I paid him August 2006 rent on 8/1 /06. On 8/18/06, he told me that i would have to vacate the apt. by the end of 8/31/06, because he has someone that will by his house and would like both floors empty. Is this legal. I have no lease with him. We have always had a good tenant - landlord relationship but things are changing now. I know I have my security month that I could live out and then move out at the end of September 2006. Isn't it illegal for him to expect me to find a place to live in less than 2 weeks. Is what my landlord doing illegal? If it is what are my best options? I am actively looking for an apartment, but with work and all, I usually end up setting dates for the weekends. Do I legally have a right to ask for more time to find a place. I have stored some furniture in friends and families homes.

As I read these boards.....?

I find that people are now calling some Islamic people and countries fascist. Why all of the sudden when Bush used this term, is it now accepted as truth?

Let me give the 14 characteristics of a fascist nation:

1. Powerful and continuing nationalism. mottos, slogans ect.

2. Disdain for the recognition of human rights.

3. Identification of enemies/scapegoats as a unifying cause.

4. Supremacy of the military. disproportionate amount of government funding

5. Rampant sexism. divorce, abortion, homosexuality

6. Controlled mass media.

7. Obsession with national security. fear tactics are used

8. Religion and government intertwined.

9. Protected corporate power.

10. Suppressed labor power.

11. Disdain for the intellectual and the arts.

12. Obsession with crime and punishment.

13. Rampant cronyism and corruption.

14. Fraudulent elections.

At what point do Americans start to realize that more of these resemble the United States then anyone else?

Will crude oil prices continue to decline?

My feeling has been that oil prices have been driven by speculation and fears in the Middle East. As the market becomes desensitized to violence in the Middle East and investors begin to realize the true relationship between oil supply and its demand, will the market efficiently reflect this truth?
