We as working people have OVER 50% of ALL we earn taken from us in the form of direct AND indirect taxes (don't believe me then sit down and work it out for youselves) but all this money is NOT wisely spent by ANY means, so much is wasted on things that do NOTHING for the lives of the people paying, this is not taxation it is legalized ROBBERY.

A lot of times businesses want your number that have no right to it and if you dont give it to them they won't do business with you. If you doubt me try it and see how much you can get done without giving them your SS# it's kind of fun but not very time profitable.

I'm asking this question again, eliminating any possible reference to one side or the other. I'm referring to any and all other posters out there who spend so much time and effort bashing the opposition party and making derogatory comments about entire political parties. Whatever your affiliation, and whoever you bash. This is a neutral question.

I honestly am curious what you are trying to accomplish. Do you see this as the best way to present your views? Or are you trying to convince people to change sides? Or do you see the other party as a threat, and this is your way of combating that threat? What is your goal?

This is not a rhetorical question, or an insult. I really am just trying to understand your perspective.

And to those who do not engage in this behavior, I understand the theoretical reasons why someone might do this. I'm actually trying to gain insight into the goals of specific individuals, on both sides of the spectrum.

Why should Illegals with children get Special treatment? When a person breaks the law Knowingly they accept the risk of getting caught. If you have a family in America and ROB a bank or committee any type of crime. The justice system doesn't go O wait you have a KID we can't send you to prison and seperate you from your child that wouldn't be right. So why do Illegals Expect Special treatment? That lady in Chicage is attempting to use her kid as reason to stay. That's Exactly the same as ANY other criminal attempting to use there kid to stay out of Prison. It doesn't work for LEGAL: citizens and it certainly shouldn't apply to Illegals.

a so called friend of mine accused me of having an affair with her THEN husband!! this was never proven and was complete bullsh*t that came out of nowhere, she named me in the divorce papers too, think it was accusing me of being the other woman...not sure but I was mentioned in the papers... this happened about 4 years ago...am I still able to persue a case? I have a little bit of money behind me now and was thinking about suing her.. any advice will be most welcome... many thanks

Someone I know, at the insistance of her husband and his friends, signed away her dower rights. (Ok, she is not the brightest crayon in the box.) I went to a website to look for some home theater recliners. I found the items I wanted, but there was no price listed. So I added them to my cart to see if it would display, it displayed as $0. I then tried to check out, but was told I needed to spend a minimun of $9, so I added a poster for 17.99

I then checked out and my order was charged and I got a confirmation. I got charge 17.99 for the poster, and 0 for the chair.

Does the vendor have to honor the $0 price? OR can they back out?
