Because its a fact? I don't know, are you trying to say it isn't a fact? I'm not even a Democrat, hah. I suppose the only thing thats actually in question these days is what has actually caused it. The Democrats and liberals for the most part believe it was caused by pollutants such as the varying greenhouse gases. The majority of the right wing also does agree it exists (regardless of who agrees and who doesn't, that doesn't suddenly make it less of a fact) but they believe it is more rooted in weather patterns based around geological history.
Does it really matter at this point how it was caused? It's here, it's happening, and it's too late to change anything, so lets just stop arguing about whether its a damn fact or not and learn how to deal with it for our futures...It's actually fairly pathetic. I believe this is my last response to any global warming denial questions. If you're around in 25 years you'll be able to see for yourself. If you don't want to wait that long there are a number of non-partisan resources you can research.

The way you've phrased the question shows you don't have Faith.
So explain the bloody great hole in the ozone layer over Chile, the acid rain over Canada, and the oil spills all over the damn place.
You have huge lakes of toxic waste in the States, one of them has turned into a tourist attraction.
Its not just global warming thats the problem, so don't reduce the entire debate down to one point that you can refute. Look at the whole picture.

When your A s s is on fire (as it has been all summer) all over the country. And the icecaps are melting - do you need anyone to tell you about global warming?
You "one-track-minded-political-drones" are incredible! Keep following that stupid star and you are going to go out with it!
When the masters say it is cold out side(and its really hot) you say yes master its cold. Incredible!

Well being grounded in reality and science has a lot to do with it as opposed to superstition and the mind programming of Faux News.

If I may, let me rephrase the question:
"Who do some Democrats feel so strongly that man is responsible for the [minor] increase in temperatures seen in different parts of the world?"
Their anti-people, anti-corporate, anti-industrial mindset just naturally took them to this conclusion - and they know they are RIGHT (what's new, huh?)!

Because it's true.
And Dems aren't the only ones who believe it:
"I recognize the surface of the earth is warmer and that an increase in greenhouse gases caused by humans is contributing to the problem." George W. Bush, July 2005

Because it's real. Some people see it as an opportunity and challenge rather than a threat.
