One day, in line at the company cafeteria, Jack says to Mike behind him, "My elbow hurts like heck. I guess I better see a doctor."

"Listen, you don't have to spend that kind of money," Mike replies. "There's a diagnostic computer down at Wal-Mart. Just give it a urine sample and the computer will tell you what's wrong and what to do about it. It takes ten seconds and cost ten dollars, a lot cheaper than a doctor."

So Jack deposits a urine sample in a small jar and takes it to Wal-Mart. He deposits ten dollars, and the computer lights up and asks for the urine sample. He pours the sample into the slot and waits. Ten seconds later, the computer ejects a printout: "You have tennis elbow. Soak your arm in warm water and avoid heavy activity. It will improve in two weeks."

That evening while thinking how amazing this new technology was, Jack began wondering if the computer could be fooled. He mixed some tap water, a stool sample from his dog, urine samples from his wife and daughter, and masturbated into the mixture for good measure. Jack hurries back to Wal-Mart, eager to check the results. He deposits ten dollars, pours in his concoction, and awaits the results. The computer prints the following:

1. Your tap water is too hard. Get a water softener.
2. Your dog has ringworm. Bathe him with anti-fungal shampoo.
3. Your daughter has a cocaine habit. Get her into rehab.
4. Your wife is pregnant. Twins. They aren't yours. Get a lawyer.
5. If you don't stop playing with yourself, your elbow will never get better.

Ok what does us being in Iraq have to do with our freedom???? i don't get that like yes they are fighting for America but they are fighting for Iraqi freedom who as far as i can tell don't want to be free or want our help are we just wasting our money, time, energy, and life trying to safe a lost cause????

And another then why do we have to stand up and remember the people over in Iraq fighting for our freedom, they are not fighting for our freedom we are already free, if you want us to solute them just say remember the people in Iraq dying for some crappy nations freedom who don't want out bloody help and would rather kill us all then be free.

Also the Bomb threat on the planes was a stupid idea and you can tell they are slipping did they really think people were just going to watch them make a bomb on the plane thats how you can tell Osama is dead or had nothing to do with that because that was beyond stupid but whatever

I was confronted in an angry, intimidating way by a supervisor. He was yelling, clenching his fists and literally shaking. He backed me into a corner and would not let me leave until a male employee entered the room. I reported the incident. Upper management had a meeting with the individual and promptly m ade him my direct supervisor. What can I do? I average $27.00 per hour and love my job very much. I do not want to quit but I am afraid of this individual. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Then you are doing what you are supposed to. We are told not to let the terrorists win, but giving up rights for freedom? Ducking and covering everytime there is a threat (which oddly enough happens when Bush and Blair ratings are at their lowest), and not even looking further into what happens afterwards.

A second part of the question could be this: Are you even aware that EVERY threat has been bedunked or proven false since 9/11. Read the links from the source below. If you don't want to believe, thats fine. But if you choose to berate me - make sure you include a source that substantiates a threat announced by any government as having been legitimate.

That does not include the recent one (Britain lowered their warning, BTW) in London. They haven't finished 'investigating'.

Okay, my counter is ready for all the 'tin foil', 'marxist' and 'crazy' comments I'm about to get...lol

Okay, so a few weeks ago I left myhusband, for full details on THAT, see my previous questions. SO, I get back to the very small town in kansas that is the closest thing I have to a home town, I apply for HUD, and get the surprise of my life. When I left, I had been living with my dad and brothers. The electric bill was turned on in my name. I spoke to dad, and he told me that the bill had been switched to a different name and not to worry. Weeeell, not so much. HE ran up a 650 bill and the got evicted. And now he has a new wife and in the last year has bought a car and a house, but I can't get utilities turned on or a place to live with my kids. In addition, the city won't turn on utilities until traffic fines are paid.

Can they do this. Am I totally screwed at every turn. I leave one bad situation and find another. I feel like I just cannot win., LEgal aid is no help, I get shunted from place to place and then get told that the office I am talking to doesn't serve wilson county.

How about, instead of 'waging war on terror' (since that is a war we can't win) we instead try and stop the recruitment process by educating, giving aid, showing these young men and women another 'career choice'. Do you think that might interfere with the recruitment? Or are you dead-set on war? Do you have another idea?

If it cost $75 a barrel. 42 gallons in a barrel. It does not add up. You get about 20 gallons of gas from a barrel. The other products are sold as well. When oil was 30-40 dollars a barrel, we only paid $1 per gallon of gas
