Bush and Blair have both, in the past, exaggerated or distorted intelligence for their own benefit.

The current terror alert in London could be another example where flimsy facts have been exaggerated out of all proportion for polical ends.

It has certainly taken Iraq and Lebanon off the front pages and created another round of anti-muslim feelings around the world.

The whole event could have been stage managed to increase home support for Bush/Blair's unpopular wars and give Israel a cover increase military activity in Lebanon.

The nervousness created in the world by the London reports, provides Israel with a golden opportunity to sunstantially raise the stakes in Lebanon with little chance of cricism from the rest of the world.

This opportunity is unlikely to be missed and we could see a major incursion into sourthen Lebanon including a massive ground attack, possibly this weekend.

Could intelligence have been exaggerated and manipluated like this in todays world?

This is a long story, I will try keeping it brief. My ex was violent towards me infront of our daughter. I'm now seeing a solicitor over contact who is saying I should offer 2 hours contact in a contact centre, with volunteers and myself present. My daughter is 3 and terrified of seeing him, she has actually been referred by her GP for counselling. I am worried she will not be able to cope with seeing him, I know nothing of the legal side of this though. Just wondered if people think this is something i should do?

You know Saudi Arabian women and other muslim women who are fully covered, their faces too, when they travel, do they show their face at the passport control? Does the passport show their face? There was an issue recently about Turkish women getting a passport with a scarf covering their hair, but this is nothing, I mean others cover even their faces and eyes. So what happens? I am not asking your opinion on what should happen, I just want to know what actually happens? Do you know?

To asylum seekers and some foreign nationals who are suspected of terrorism and who incite hatred? If they cant be sent home, could they be placed elsewhere in the world in a country they do not hold so much contempt for??? What will be done???

First..., check their original immigration pass or work pass .
Second cross-check particulars on these passes against particulars on their original passport.
Lastly, verify the validty on their pass either by checking with the immigration .

I would think Britain would be doing their jobs anyway, ans so should Bush and crew. Thier being paid for it aren't they? In the UK you are banned from wearing your hood up in shopping centers. I'm aware of the reason for this and its to fight crime and make suspects recognisable by having there face showing. , however whilst at a very large very busy shopping center last night, I seen a lot of muslims in there "bhurka" outfits (The ones where you can only see there eyes) surely in this day and age with the threat of terrorism these sort of dresswear should be banned also. It's political madness gone wrong.

There are seriously no parking spots available at my complex after 9pm and i am a paying resident. In an earlier question today I asked whether the aims of the Israeli attack on Lebanon were political. Almost everyone who answered agreed they were. The answers came both from Israeli supporters and opponents. I asked the question because under the UK Terrorism Act 2000 terrorism is defined as the use of violence anywhere in the World to advance political ends. It is a crime in the UK to provide financial support or to glorify such terrorism. Thus if there are UK individuals or groups sending money or arms or other material support to Israel to assist in the attack on Lebanon this is a serious crime. Similarly if anyone is glorifying the Israeli terrorism this is also a serious crime.

If anyone can send me evidence to support such crimes I will collate it an lay complaints with the police.

I was speaking to a friend of mine the other day, and she asked for my suggestions, but I didn't know what to tell her.

Apparently, one of her neighbors noticed sometime last month that someone had put an extra bag of garbage in his garbage can after he put it out on the curb the night before. It's really no big deal--we all do it in my neighborhood, as well. The only really noteworthy thing was that he noticed the whole bag was full of empty cold medicine boxes. On a whim, he checked the following week, and there was another bag. He put the word out in their neighborhood for people to watch for it, and apparently everyone has been getting a bag in their garbage; so far, people have brought him over 50 bags. He opened one, and it was full of Sudafed-type medicine boxes, all different brands, and the bag he opened had almost 150 empty packages in it.

They called the police, but the police won't do anything; they didn't even take the bags. Who should they call for help?
