I think we are British because we are born here. As a young teenager I was very patriotic - trips to see the queen during the silver jubilee etc. I even had Union Jack socks and a bikini.

Once Thatcher started to rule, things changed. I began to feel almost embarrassed about my Britishness. SUS laws being brought in just to arrest anyone that might only be waiting for a bus, the destruction of mining communities, the illegal killing of Blair Peach by Maggie's SPG.

I think it is the political history of the late 70's early 80's which change my view of being British. However, I must add, compared to most places in Europe and the rest of the world, this is still probably the best place to live.

We are British just because we are born here. If you saw the news today, all those guys that were going to blow up the planes were called British and they have zero loyalty and should all be shot as far as Im concerned.

You are no less British just because you are not loyal, its just about where you were born and whats on your passport at the end of the day.

Loyalty ? To who what ? The Queen Mother ?

She is the Leader of the Illuminatis, Blair is known as Knight of Maltha,

and Bush is known to be Knight of Eulogia,

If you start to act like that, you will soon can't say anything about what the Administration done wrong, like China....

They are the Illuminatis, and they own you,
This is the New World Order, and it is your future if the world don't wake up :

And this is what Bush’s minions had to say in 2000;-
"Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor"
Project for the New American Century (2000)

“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
Hermann Göring(Nazi) 1946 Nuremberg Trials

"We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order."
David Rockefeller: Statement to the Untied Nations Business Council in September 1994

"For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with other around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it." David Rockefellers memoirs (2002)

What a silly question and how poorly asked.

One is British because one is born British.

One's loyalty has nothing to do with the matter.

One may be loyal because one is born British but one's British birth does not automatically bring about loyalty.

It's all about how you feel. Yes, you are British because you were born there, but you can also have pride in your country. There's being a Brit, and being British! This is a hard one to answer in print, so I hope you understand what I am trying to get across...

Loyalty is a false concept designed by politicians to keep us under control. Have you ever noticed that it's the loyal people who do the fighting and put up with hardship. Was Tony Blair in the assault on Baghdad? Did he have to queue up at the airport for hours yesterday? No it was us loyal subjects. Will Tony Blair retire in the UK and pay his taxes. No, he'll be off to America on the million dollar neocon lecture circuit.
