YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually suggested he run. I think he is exactly who we need. He is intelligent, already familiar with all the political idiosyncrasies, military excellence and honest........when is the last time you could use "honest" to describe one of our candidates?...lol

No because of Colin Powell, the war was not organized and fought right. Our men cannot fight a war with one hand tied behind their back and Colin Powell had alot to do with that.He backed down when the going got tough and then turned on the President while he was still holding office. You may disagree with the president but you do it behind closed doors, not in public view.Thats disrepectful.

Nope. He hasn't got the chops to be President. Just because he worked his way up in Defense to be top general doesn't prove enough.
His inability as Secretary of State to hold up against Bush insiders and the fact that he did not see it as a test shows his talents don't go far enough.
If he had gotten fired as Sec'y of State by going down fighting the Bush insiders he would have passed the test. If he had succeeded in dominating the Bush insiders he would have passed the test. He failed the test. He may not have known he was being tested that way.

I heard he won't run; fearing for his life... This country isn't ready for a female or non-Caucasian president. I hope it would be, but probably not in my lifetime, unfortunately. Too many prejudiced and closed-minded people out there.

No. But only because he doesn't want the job. I don't believe someone who has to be talked into it would do very well. I don't want a reluctant President.
