There are 24 Ministers of the House of keyes and each are independant candidates ,
Therefore there are no party politics ,
However to give the impression of political choice there are currently 4 active parties ,

The Manx Labour Party.
The Alliance For Progressive Government.
Independant Labour Party.
Mec Vannin.

But none of the Parties have enough candidates to hold a majority vote and elections are held without contest .

So it is impossible to influence Government Policy by means of Democratic vote .

For instance the Chief Minister (UK's equivalent of Prime Minister)
recently retired from office ,
In most democracies this would call for a public election to allow voters to choose his replacement , not so in the Isle of Man the choice was made behind closed doors and if you dont like it you can write to the Isle of Man Government only , as no-one in the rest of the World has any Authority in the Isle of Man .

Dictatorship ? Autonomy ? but not a Democracy

I recently purchased an estate in the hills above Malibu. My gardener Miguel, while planting a few hundred rose bushes, unearthed what appears to be a body (human) next to the Koi Pond. I dispatched my butler to verify what Miguel said he had found. Anthony confirmed my worst fears. The problem is, if I notify the authorities, they will probably destroy part of the Koi pond removing it. Not to mention, my property value would certianly drop. I am inclined to simply pretend I never knew anything, and have Miguel deported. Anthony, I am sure I can trust. What do you think I should do.

A terrorist would surely wait for a lower state of alert when there are less police around.

Tax,Tax and re-Tax.. again the basis of our republic is our ability to work,prosper and explore our liberties unhindered, correct ?... we have no national healthcare system, we pine endlessly about the welfare state ..yet only a miniscule portion of your Federal tax dollars go to programs that benefit we, the people..

Suicide bomber kills 33 in southern Iraq By QAIS AL-BASHIR, Associated Press Writer

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A suicide bomber detonated a belt of explosives on his body near a highly revered Shiite shrine in southern Iraq Thursday, killing at least 33 people and injuring 108, an official said.


The bomber blew himself up while being patted down by policemen near the Imam Ali mosque in the Shiite holy city of Najaf, said Dr. Munthir al-Ithari, the head of Najaf's health directorate. He said one Iranian woman was among the 33 dead and nine Iranians among the 108 injured.

In a statement, the military stated it is hard to get this under control.

There are those whose only understanding of islamic extremism and terrorism is:

Now, most people in the civilized countries know for sure that there no such thing "a GOD", so why they think that Israel has a historical right to take the promise land (who did promise who ???!!!!)
who told them 3000y/ago to exit Egypt and occupy Palestinian Land? if they have any right it should be in Egyptian Land !

the palestinian lived in their land long before the first Israeli was born...

when will the west understand the injustice done against Palestinians, it is the root of what they call "Terrorism", these terrorist are suferring of huge mental anguish !

Yahoo News and many other news organisations are reporting in all earnestness that UK police have foiled a major terrorist plot to blow up airliners over the Atlantic. There have been arrests but no-one has even been charged with an offence, let alone found guilty after a trial. No explosives have been discovered and there are no details of how this alleged plot was supposed to work. No-one has been convicted of any involvement in any plot. So whatever happened to the idea of being innocent until proven guilty?

British top sleuths foiled a plot by terrorist masterminds to blow up planes. so america raised its terror level again.
It wouldnt be because we are in Iraq illegally would it?
or that we support the terririst nation of israel would it?
