We have a guy on WSB radio named Neil Bortz who had, and I'm not sure if it's still there, a blurb about how a loaf of bread is taxed 72 times before we buy it in a store!

The whole tax system has gone so far out of whack it just is not feasible any more! If bread is taxed like this, and it is, so is everything else! This is why I keep saying taxes have to be eliminated!

Our Flim Flam Man politicians just can't be trusted to conduct themselves with any sense of decency with our money. The politicians must be made to earn a profit and fund what needs to be done. When they have to do the work and earn a profit they will have more respect for how the money is spent.

We have to earn our employers a profit for our paycheck. The politicians should do no different, we pay them huge salaries, and they earn us nothing. ALL they have done is run our debt to the moon and scream for more tax money.

They have had it far to easy and the time for a change has come. Their pay should be moved to end of the budget, and when balanced and the debt reduced with a regular payment, they get paid. If they fail on either of the two points they don't get paid!

Doing this will fix a great many of the countries ills. They will find a way to have a balance budget and get the debt reduced. It will not keep running like now with runaway spending and $150 Trillion in outstanding debt, this includes all the unfunded entitlements we're obligated to pay.

Why don't you move to "free" country? Taxes are what we pay for a civilized political, economic and social systems. I agree it would be fairer if the rich paid more taxes because they benefit more from the services government provides, but nothing is perfect.

If you read the constitution there is absolutely nothing about the Federal Government being responsible for any social programs. They have overstepped their bounds and created a group of lazy people who will never contribute to society.

you are taxed by your town, your state, and your country. a lot of that money go to a failed school system. funny that if you fix the school system you would fix health care, crime, and welfare all at once. tax cuts have proved that lower taxes create economic growth. It has worked for Kennedy, Reagan, the republican congress of 94 and George bush.
