British top sleuths foiled a plot by terrorist masterminds to blow up planes. so america raised its terror level again.
It wouldnt be because we are in Iraq illegally would it?
or that we support the terririst nation of israel would it?
Or that we are intent on invading Iran too would it?

Regardless of whether the threat is real or fabricated, or why, the government never misses the opportunity to engage in fear-mongering. Our government has declared "orange alert". What the f_ck does that mean to me? Will I do anything different tomorrow? NO. Will I be any more safe then I would if it were "blue alert"...or "red alert"?? NO. Will it do anything to stop future terror plots? NO. Will it secure our porous borders? NO. It's merely a tool to whip the public into a fearful frenzy and further distract them from the fact that their privacy, freedoms, and civil liberties are slowly but surely being stripped away. By keeping the ignorant masses in fear, they can more easily assert their control. Sad, eh?
So what's more scary? The label of "terrorist" or a government that abuses that label for its own political gain?

So lets back up here all the way to ww2. Great Britian was in trouble ans 3/4 from surrendering until we came in and won it for them. Same thing in the first war. Now they are trying to blow up our planes because of our freedon way of life. I thought that it was a lot of people in US that were Britian. Im not being a nationalist but i just dont see why people would do this. If they were mad at our country and they had enough money for a plane ticket and money for 10 bombs then i think they could have came over here to live with us. Its hard on innocent britains because today one of my teachers was britian and people were calling her ***** and stuff like that. Oh well i guess i better get ready for another world war.
