why cant mexican and americans get ALONG?

many people blame all the problems that happens in the usa on us (half of the time) all we do is come over here and work our asses of and support our family

Because your coming over our borders illegally and taking away jobs we could have, not to mention our american companies are moving to your country because you'll work for cheap labor and that has put many Americans out of work. Some who have been with a company for many years will lose their jobs due to the company moving to your country for cheap labor. We understand your plight there in Mexico but why can't the majority of your people at least enter our country legally. The illegal immigrants come here, take wages we could have and you DON"T put the money back into our economy, you take it back to Mexico. Then you go to our schools, force teachers to take extra classes so they HAVE to speak YOUR language so your illegal kids can get a good education. Thats bull. Do you know there are many families that are illegal in Texas that go to school there. They complain that their kids don't get a good education because they can't speak english, yet our teachers try to teach them but the parents don't reenforce the english language at home. You also are using valuable medical resources with no insurance that an american could use. Its due to your people coming here illegally and our country having to support you without you putting anything back into our economy.

Let me give you an example of why....I live in a very small community. There was a factory opened here about 30 years ago that gave great job opportunity to the people that lived here. The people of this community built that company and made it what it is today. It was the only place in town that offered decent pay and benefits. Five years ago, they closed it down and moved it to Mexico, b/c rather than pay Americans 10 bucks an hour, they could pay the Mexicans 10 bucks a day. I do understand that it was the owners choice, and not the fault of the Mexicans, but it really hurt our community.

Also, there are quite a few Mexicans in our county alone. I don't know about the rest of the world. But yes, they come here and work very hard. I'll second that...they work very hard!! But they don't pay taxes that we have to, and then instead of spending the money they earned here, they take it back to Mexico....so they're just taking the American consumers money and in no way giving back to the community. So you can understand why some people would have a problem?

Probably because Mexicans blame everything on Americans so I would think turn about is fair play. Also if you are gonna come over here then do things the American way! If Mexicans wanna do things the Mexican way then stay in Mexico and if you don't want to speak English then stay in Mexico. AND DON'T HANG OUR FLAG UNDER YOURS OR UPSIDE DOWN IN KNOTS WHILE ON AMERICAN SOIL since not is it disrespectful but illegal

also your question is crap since we don't blame 1/2 he problems on Mexicans...we blame them on terrorists, blacks, Mexicans, whites, Republicans, democrats..so Mexicans don't come close to having 1/2 problems laid at their feet.

As for working buts off I would say a lot do..there are also a lot who do not. I am a white American citizen who works my butt off and while I do this everyone tells me why I am a lazy racist because I don't want to give all my stuff to the unfortunate.

JTM FRAGINA: I have been to Mexico and I had to go thru customs just like Mexicans have to do..perfectly equal. Now if a Mexican crosses American border illegally they are given a hug and if American crosses Mexican border illegally they are beaten..true not equal and arrested

We can get along with Mexicans. We have a problem with people who ignore the fact that we subsidize costs of education and health care for poor people, even if they work hard and pay taxes. That is because we want OUR OWN POOR to be able to have upward mobility opportunity, and even though it means diverting money from our own families, we are willing to pay for it. We have decided to let some foreigners in, even if they are poor and we have to cover their costs too, but the number we let in is limited, and is managed under our immigration laws.

People illegally here ignore those limits and just decide we should pay for them, too. We don't agree.

With a smaller number of them the impact was less, but now the impact on school and health service quality and cost is huge in areas where illegal immigrants concentrate.

Have you ever heard of killing the golden goose? Your government really SHOULD have cooperated to slow the flow before the problem became so huge.

If by 'why can't we get along' you mean 'why don't you stop complaining about being made to pay to educate the uninvited poor of Mexico at your own children's expense', it simply isn't going to happen. Your own government doesn't pay for these services for you, why aren't you mad at them instead of us?

Jim, Mexico has MUCH stricter immigration laws than we do. They accept NO poor immigrants at all unless they are spouses or family of citizens. They also enforce their laws. Look it up.

I don't have a problem with mexicans. I have a problem with anyone who comes here illegally. I've got a problem with any group that promotes "taking over" a country by reproduction....to gain political control by having children. I've got a problem with groups who come here then claim the U.S. stole the land so they are going to take it back. I've got a problem with people who come here and want to seek only economic advantages but not become one of us. Other than that I got no problems. I like santana, los lonely boys, and mexican food.

I don't "have a problem" with mexicans. The ONLY ones i do have a problem with, are ILLEGALS of ANY race or nationality!!!!! If people want to come here, they need to do it LEGALLY, then they can have background checks and health checks done on them.

Some do come over here and work hard and support their family, but do it legally.I worked with one guy who was here legally. He had a green card and he told me that he made more in one hour here than he made working all day in Mexico. There are economic reasons for coming here but do it legally. I can't stress that enough.

first it was the native Americans got the blame, then the blacks, next is the Hispanics (not just Mexicans). soon, with the growth of the Hispanic population, this will end and we show that we can live without looking down/ blaming others.

There is so many things wrong with what you said. You don't work you're asses off (unless you count stealing stuff work.) We don't just blame you anyway we blame black people too. I'll give you props for giving us the taco/burrito/enchilada food but that's about all Mexicans did for anybody.

If SOME Mexicans and SOME Americans don't get along it probably has to do with the language barrier.
