The biographies of Jesus depict him repeatedly reaching out to those at the bottom of the social pyramid--poor people, women, Samaritans, lepers, children, prostitutes and tax collectors.

He was an advocate for the poor and oppressed, in his time....He said, the poor would inherit the earth one day....

He also 'hung out' with the dregs/sinner's of society, not to participate with their lifestyle's, but to bring them hope and forgiveness....

Also, Jesus was a strong advocate for women....He was truly concerned about the horrible treatment of women during his time...Wouldn't you say He was the first woman's libber? He forgave the adulterous woman at the well.

And rebuked those who wanted to stone a prositute.......

Jesus, was himself, homeless.....It is no wonder he associated with the disadvantaged and underprivileged.

What are your thoughts? Was Jesus a liberal?

They are getting rather loud about it. Just yesterday, when I put out some fresh haybales, they all began booing and hissing and two tried to climb the fence and I had to use a cattle prode to drive them back just because they want to be guaranteed I'll let them out to vote this fall.

Madness!! I'll have to get loincloths for all of them and some kind of scarves for the females if I let them go into town to vote--and you know how Democrats are--being herd animals like they are. If one makes a break for it, they ALL will. And just think of the expenses of all that cloth!! At least $25,maybe even $30.

Total madness!! I have absolutely no guarantee that any will come back, and Democrats are with little enough profitability as it is, you know? All they howl about is when is their next welfare check coming or trying to organize protest rallies for the most outlandish ideas--like demanding that I put padding on the roosts in my chicken house so my chickens' feet won't hurt in the AM

I was cut from my job expectedly without notification. I have two converstaions between me and my boss regarding my deployment. In addition to forwarding those conversations to the vice president of the department, I would also like to let him how that proper training should be conducted. I am not asking for my job back, just so the VP knows what type of person he is. Would that be illegal if I forward those conversation between me and my former boss?

where it belongs on Hezbollah, they started with the rockets and on the Lebanese for allowing Hezbollah to take hold of their country, and The feeble UN with a force of 2000 observers missed the 13,000 missles being brought into Lebanon? No people would rather blame Bush. Wake-up.

war has the 3 D's =death , disease , distruction.
conservatives have the DT's they are trying to shake =death and taxes
liberals have the 3 L's of life =look , listen , learn .
conservatives the three F's = if it fly's floats or focks lease it
both groups need a little more of the 3 R's = reading righten and rhtmatic.

I'm a student and we are given the option to learn a forgien language. Many of the people I have talked to were forced to learn spanish by their parents because of illegal immigrants and you may need it in some job situations, which is true. I on the other hand was allowed to choose whatever language I wanted to(Spanish, German, or French). I really would like to learn sign language but it was not an option at my school. I felt I should choose the language I liked and not what society would benifit from, because I do not support illegal immigrants choosing not to learn English when, there are free classes they can take to learn(maybe not in your city, but there are in mine). So, I choose to learn French because I like the language and would like to visit France someday. Do you think this will still be a useful language? What is your opinion on learning spanish just for the illegal immigrants?

Ok first off i believe that noone likes war less than a soldier. I have been fighting since i joined. First it was Bosnia, then Afghanistan, then Iraq, then Iraq again. I have spent 4 years of my life doing this job of protecting the world and my country.

I believe that unless you are in the military you shouldnt be making accusations against soldiers. Sadly enough those soldiers are dying for your right to have your crappy opinions. If you dont support the war, then that is fine, but you should always support the soldier. There i have said my piece. I feel a little better now that i have said that. Hope the blood i spilled for you was worth it.

Its hard to wrap our conflicts in the america flag and say we're "liberating" the population..why haven't we "liberated" the population in sudan... Oh yeah, no natural resources we can exploit!
