War is not a form of 'terror.'

Ideally in war the only people hurt are combatants with the civilians being protected from the effects of combat.

Terrorists do the exact opposite. They target civilians while avoiding fighting combatants.

The reason that it appears that war targets everybody is that in their attempts to blame the US and Israel - people are not holding those nation's enemies accountable for their actions that kill or endanger civilians. As a result they are creating a new de facto Law Of War that you do not have to obey the Geneva Conventions.

I think the overall outcome is that war is terror. No matter who "wins" and I use that term loosely people die. Taking someones loved ones out of this world is terror to someone. It's sad that we have to kill each other to resolve a problem. But ultimately if you look at the world war maybe the only way to fix problems. If something is going horrible in a part of the world war can ultimately fix the problem. If we look at WWII many people died. A horrible event was going on in the world and ultimately war resolved it. So maybe war is a form of terror that may be needed but it needs to be truly justified or it's just a killing spree.

If I have been president on 9/11 i could in all risk had the B fifty two's loaded to the hilt, the B2's and something that could make the trip and saturated each thing from the east coast of the Mediterranean, different than Israel, to the Border of India. in this variety there could be very few muslims left. We screwed up in 1954 whilst we pulled out of Korea. we ought to constantly have finished them like we did Japan in '40 5. I fought in the jungles of Vietnam and hate war as much as all people yet we are in a position to no longer shop letting those little dix headed dictators have their way, and we've got yet another war in the barren region this is getting stressful to combat. those monkeys we are combating won't placed on a uniform or insignia so something is going whilst we seize them. they are in a position to place the guidelines the place the sunlight do no longer shine with the aid of fact those cowards hide in the back of civilians understanding we can't fire on the instant and that's each and all the prospect they want. we could desire to tug our boys out and then do a fly over, blanket bombing each sq. inch of Muslim territory. I understand harmless people will die too yet a number of those harmless anybody is those hiding and feeding those terrorists.

two wrongs don't make a right but now that we've gotton involved it's kinda hard to just back down. War is also good for the economy. Look at how WWII help the US recover from the Great Depression.

Good luck over there and take good care of yourself.

No. War is battle between two consenting nations, and ideally involves no civilian casualities. Terror is a deliberate attack on the citizenry of a country. War is legitimate (though despicable). Terrorism is not.

This probably doesn't answer your question but I've often wondered: We have 435 rep. in Congress and 100 senators. How many of them have a son or daughter of age that is in the military. I guess this should be a question.

God bless you for your service. Please stay safe, my prayers are with you. We need more of those in authority to join in making the 'ultimate sacrifice' to stand up and be counted.

You, my son or daughter, have the gratitude of millions but in reality so little thanks. Each and everyone of you are the real heros.

Again, please be safe. I wish that when this is all over you would all have the respect and assistance due you. I intend to do my part.

I feel that war is terrorism. Its one country opposing their will on another. I support the troops, they are just following orders, but I am against war.

I don't think it is. War has a purpose of making things better. Terrorism only aims to destroy innocent people.
