Why do Americans have this compulsion to tell others that things they do are "wrong", and try to have them outlawed? Do you really care if someone who lives 700 miles away from you is homosexual? Or if someone in another state smokes marijuana? You will never meet these people, and if you do you can choose not to associate with them. What compels us to impress our moral standards on complete strangers?

Current members are going to run for re-election. My son doesn't have $1,500 to include candidate statement in mailings. Any advice for him to up his chances at votes? He is 21 years old and has never done anything like this before. Thanks for your help!

Maybe if they fought one another on the golf course they could earn more respect for one another. It seems that both Israel and Lebanon are fighting one another because that is what they do. Perhaps it is time for both groups to get jobs, learn to play golf then try to beat one another on the course. The actions they have taken lately is sort of par for the course for these two. If they haven't found out yet, IT'S NOT WORKING GUYS! Time to give it up and learn to play golf.

I have a neighbor who has called my landlord making false accusations. She is claiming that my oldest daughter is uncontrollable, my wife and I are never home, the cops are at our house 2-3 times a week, and that parties are always held at the house, all of which is untrue. This neighbor never once approached me or my wife telling us that she has any problems with us or my oldest daughter. She has also called the cops on my 9 year old daughter for throwing rocks into a puddle. This neighbor is claiming that she and several other neighbors are going to the home owners association to try and have us evicted for being a disturbance. My family and I have only been at this new house for 4 months and although we have a good relationship with our landlord, I don’t want my landlord to think that this is becoming a nuisance. What can I do? Can I press charges for harassment against this neighbor?

Women coming on here asking why they can't join the Special Forces, obtain the "equal" opportunities like men do in the military as far as jobs etc., when you and I know it's the psychologically factors that play into the decisions being made in such way. I feel that they should do some research about these types of quesitons, so they won't keep asking the same damn question. I mean, if there is such a woman who can tolerate such rigorous test-then by all means, kudos.

I went to get my mail the other day and I noticed that all of the letters in my name were on the top along with a business card for a private investigator. One of my letters looked like someone had tried (or was going to) open it. Shortly after (the next day) I got a call on my cell phone with no number or name on the caller id by a man claiming to be an old friend. I said he had the wrong # and hung up. I don't like the feeling of being watched and do not like feeling like my mail was tampered with. What action, if any could I take?

Either we're killing something that is alive or we're admmiting that a thing that wasn't alive just took a breath one day. My aunt married this guy in 1976 they were together for 6 years and had 2 children. She divorced him because he wouldn't work and provided no financial support whatsoever for his family. She had to work two jobs as a nurse to support them, when she divorced him, she got custody of the kids and never recieved 1 penny child support. The boys were 3 and 1 at the time. Now he shows up 24 yrs later & is trying to convince his kids that he was disabled vet and she threw him out because of his disablities and refused his child support payments. He claims that he has been drawing veteran's disability since his discharge. He claims to have served from the beginning of war til his discharge 3 mos before he met her. But according to our calculations he would have been only been 16 when he joined. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
