Ok..This is kind of confusing but here it goes..I got a divorce in November. The court ordered my ex to pay $100.00 a month for 17 month's. He paid 4 months and quit..I filed contempt charges on him..I found out yesterday he counterfiled against me...He say's i still have things that belong to him(cookbooks and pic's of our wedding) ...I have several email's from him saying i couldnt have the rest of my things until i gave him his...I have made several attempts to meet with him or go to our old house and exchange our things. But he told me(all in the email's) i would go to jail if i came out there. Now, my question being....Since i have it in black and white that i have tried to work with him to exchange our things, How much trouble am i going to be in??? I'm scared to death now..Should i drop it and let him off with not paying the money or stand my ground??? I just want it all to be over with...I'm willing to not get the rest of my things if this will just end...

Fact: embryonic stem cell research has yielded nothing.
Fact: adult stem cell research has already yielded benefecial results

Fact: Liberals don't give a rats as$ about stem cell research. They only care about embryonic stem cell research because of its relation and possible impact to abortion.

That's the only reason they are frothing at the mouth. Such degenerates.

"Those are $100,000 bricks of $100 bills and that’s $2 million there," Willis explains, looking at a photo of brick-shaped stacks of money wrapped in plastic. "This, in fact, is a payment that we made on the 1st of August to a company called Custer Battles."

Custer Battles, Inc. - The company had been started by Scott Custer, a former Army Ranger and Mike Battles, an unsuccessful congressional candidate from Rhode Island who claimed to be active in the Republican Party and have connections at the White House. They arrived in Baghdad with no money. Yet within a year they landed $100 million in contracts.

Frank Willis, coalitional authority 2nd in command: "I think that what they were doing was of the nature of what I understand war-profiteering to be about"

"The Coalition Authority not only refused to throw Custer Battles off the airport job, it wrote them a glowing review and continued to give them contracts"

I had a lawyer that slacked on my case. If anything it screwed me over, and he's expecting a full compensation,, its part of the contract, but you know... its unfair especially since he didn't put as much effort into this, and now I've lost more than I've gained. I wish something were done. Any advice?

A friend borrowed my vehicle about 2 years ago. He got into an accident. At the time I didn't make him pay because he had no money. I know now that he would be able to pay me for the damages. Can I still collect from him? This occured in Washington. The vehicle is still driveable but according to the estimate the damage he caused totaled my vehicle.

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan -- Canadian troops narrowly missed death and serious injury when an American jet dropped a 225-kilogram laser-guided bomb on their position earlier this month in an incident frighteningly similar to the friendly fire attack that killed four Canadian soldiers in 2002.

Soft ground prevented a bloodbath, soldiers said of the incident the military has kept quiet.

Pte. Rob Adams, who was kneeling five metres from where the bomb landed and was completely engulfed by the fiery flash, received a concussive head injury. He was airlifted by helicopter to hospital at the coalition's Kandahar Airfield base.

His condition was assessed as very good and he has been released from hospital, said Canadian Forces Maj. Marc Theriault.

Although 17 Canadian troops were within 45 metres of the blast, and shrapnel splinters up to a half-metre long littered the farmer's field where the laser-guided bomb hit, nobody died. But nearly a dozen soldiers were blown through the air.

"We heard it coming. What went through my head was, `I can't believe they bombed us,"' said one soldier who had been standing just over 10 metres from the impact point.

Another soldier, 25 metres away, was smashed so hard to the ground that the edge of his helmet was pushed in. He is still suffering severe headaches from the July 8 incident.

The explosion blasted a different soldier three metres into a mud hole.

The incident was all too similar to an attack by a U.S. F-16 aircraft that killed four Canadian troops during a training mission near Kandahar in April 2002. Eight other Canadians were injured.

Most of the people here hate illegals and that is very evident. They continue to say its not rascist and in my point it is. If they would just leave it in the legal issue but no they go as far as insult them and wanting them killed. Most of the people that argue say things like that they don't pay taxes, they take their jobs, benefits , and what not. First of all if you work in this country with real or fake papers you have to do taxes because you are forced to. The fact that people say that they their jobs to me seem a way for people to justify their misfortunes instead of working to better themselves.People that say deport illegals need to realize that this country was build on the backs of all those illegals (though the term wasn't used back then its the true) who came here for opportunities like the immigrants of today. The claims most people make today are the same made by a hatred group the kKK. Those believes point to white superiority. What do you think and without disrespect?

My uncle was married for 25 years to a woman who turned into a meth head 2 years ago. They have been divorced for about a year now. Yesterday, she came to his house to "visit her grown son" and stole a check from my uncles checkbook. He was not home at the time. She made the check out to cash for $1500.00 and went to a Wachovia bank in alabama and cashed it. (we live in GA) She even signed her name on the back of the damn check. The bank reimbursed my uncle, but who is responsible for prosecuting her? What are the charges besides forgery?

I believe it was Bush's fault not because he could have prevented it but as a former soldier of the Army myself I feel he knew full well in advance about it, just like everything else in this dirty game of politics but it was written to happen decoded in the bible, so I say this "Bush's family are skull & Bone Masons" and this my dear is just history unfolding as predicted by Nortedamus! As for Katrina I have myself assisted in the efforts of Operation Noble Eagle and have seen more than 5 thousand soldiers packed and deplyed effortlessly to Iraq, so it would have eased my soul to see them make an effort to preserve human life, however it is common nature for a certain amount of humans to die so that the world can continue to replenish, so I will say though with all of that sin going on in New Orleans it's a wonder God didn't clean it and humble them sooner! I just am wondering how many people believe that the Holy War has begun, and our democratic govorments actions were predicted?

After hurricane Katrina they said Bush didn't act because he was rascist against black people so he didn't want to help them. Then this criminal was shot by a cop and they said it was because he was rascist. I think that is just the easy way out for people now.

Insults are part of the political debate. When do these go too far? For me, it was when someone told me I didn't care about my brother, because I cited his paralysis as an example of why stem cell research would be beneficial. Agree or not agree, did this person cross the line by taking my brother's tragedy, and using it against me, just to lend 'creedence' to his political views? I think that's sick...how 'bout you?
