After hurricane Katrina they said Bush didn't act because he was rascist against black people so he didn't want to help them. Then this criminal was shot by a cop and they said it was because he was rascist. I think that is just the easy way out for people now.

It's because people can't think of any other intellegent way to prove any pointless points they ave.

It's like because loads of Blacks chose to stay in New Orleans after they were warned to leave that automatically makes Bush racist.

Oh please, Bush is not racist, if he was he would have never appointed Blacks to positions, he would have never gone to Funerals of Blacks, he would have never met with Black leaders but guess what he has done all of those things, he even spoke at an NAACP meeting even though the NAACP is prolly more racist than what Bush is accused of being.

Mayor Nagin of New Orleans certainly is racist and I think he needs to move to Nigeria where a lot of Blacks over there hate Whites but love to scam White Americans out of Money.

What really irks me is what while it is deemed wrong for Whites to be racist against Blacks it is deemed ok for Blacks to be racist against Whites.

I think Racism is wrong period but I am so sick of the race card being played as a reason for things that have absolutely nothing to do with Race.

It's an easy way to try to explain something that didn't go exactly as it should have.

Mark my words on this...
We learned a lot from Katrina.
But when (not if) a major hurricane targets a predominantly white area, people will be evacuated, using the knowledge gained from Katrina. This will result in a brand new backlash of racism when the whole incident is handled effectively and successfully.

Democrats don’t have that a lot ammunition firstly. They lose in virtually each and every logical argument, so after 30 of arguing their speaking factors they ought to tutor their argument into some thing they can take advantage. Throwing the race card commonly makes them experience better yet that immediately breaks down, because the similar old voter is better recommended today than contained in the previous.

Many things that are called by race are really about money. The truth is Bush didn't help anyone fron Katrina and the ones with money were able to leave before it hit, the ones that couldn't leave stayed.

I hate when people play the race card.

It wasn't just blacks in New Orleans after Katrina...there were white people there too.

Suffice it to say Bush doesn't discriminate--he doesn't care about ANYONE!

Oh, it is totally the "easy" way out. If something bad happens to you and you're black, hispanic, etc... just claim racism. It must be due to racism rather than the fact that you're a moron or a criminal.

The root of the problem is money. It is profitable for the media, the lawyers, the politicians and wannabes, and the minorities to cry and complain inequity. Money is thrown at them to shut them up. White guilt and fear of violence (or not being reelected, sued, etc.) allows it to continue.

I agree. Everyone is so quick to play the "racist card" as an explanation for everything. People need to get over themselves and start living in the real world!!!
