i didnt file for several years, mostly out of fear of what would happen when i did. but it turns out the impulse was foolish, for many of those years i was OWED back taxes- meaning they IRS would have paid me had i filed. well i got my **** together finally about three years ago, sucked it up and went to an accountant to straighten everything out. lo and behold, she was right. i was in no trouble, though i had forfitted several years worth of returns. I still got a check for like seven grand though, but she said i forfitted like another ten by not filing all that time, theres some rule that if you make like under such and such a year, they owe you, plus theres an instant grand for each child you have. nowadays i go the minute i get the W2 in the mail, like in january. Fear of paying taxes is a terrible thing. just work it out with the IRS.after all, they dont want YOUR money, they want THEIR money.

Paying Income tax is optional. Thats right, Optional. By not paying taxes though, you become ineligible for a host of government services.
Cheating on your taxes is punishable, the IRS will get you.

OMG...
The IRS has the highest interest rate out of everyone. If he doesn't hurry up, he may well pay over 150% of the original amount. If he cannot pay, he can be sent to jail for defrauding the IRS.

They will put liens on everything he owns. They will hound him. They will take him to court. Then they will toss his *** in jail. You cannot just not pay taxes. And you can't claim things that don't exist. Doing so cheats and steal from ALL Americans and he deserves everything that is coming to him.
