IN AGOURA HILLS, Calif., day laborers have already started to ask for more get ready people that argument that prices will go up if we make them leave . hello if they are legal or guest workers they will want more and nothing has passed yet and they are already asking for more so there goes that argument out the window .

The black Lexus stopped just yards from a large, shady oak tree, and eight copper-skinned Guatemalan men rushed over.
For a minute, the woman in the car and the men haggled feverishly before the Lexus drove off — without any day laborers to help with her gardening.

The woman had offered to pay $10 an hour, not realizing what she had stumbled into: the only day labor site in the nation that has set a $15-an-hour minimum wage
At a few dozen other sites across the country, day laborers have set minimums, usually $8 or $10. Around 10:30 a.m., Marie Caupisch drove up in a Mercedes-Benz 300D Turbo Diesel, offering to hire one or two men for $10 an hour —

There is a radio show called "Coast to Coast"..i'm not sure what time it's on , but it runs on AM radio.Any way, the other day I went onto the website of this show and was looking up past shows. I came across this one that took place March 6th 2003. It featured a guy by the name of Major Ed Dames. He is called a remote viewer. Remote viewing is a type of psychic information gathering that was used by a secret government spying program for over 20 years. On that show he predicted a nuclear attack by North Korea which he said will come from a hidden tunnel. It will occur on the border between North and South Korea shortly after the US attacks Iraq. The purpose of this is to damage the American military that is stationed there. He stated the whole world will be horrifed and the Chinese will negotiate a deal in the aftermath. Please tell me what do you guys think about all of this. It's a little unnerving to me with all of this nuclear weapons stuff happening now with Korea. What do you say

More paranoia on the Home Front-TV

I just spent thirty minutes on the phone with Carly Bronxstein,a orthodox Jewish (now secular) Ashkenazim (European) friend who is upset about the Israeli/Hezbollah war in Lebanon.

A.) All TV is aimed at upsetting and dramatizing news stories.

B.) This situation has been going on in that land area for the last 5,000 years as it is a footbridge to Africa, Europe, and Asia. It will never change, it was never peaceful and will never be.

She got upset as the News reporter referred to this situation as "Armageddon"....and Carly is Jewish! Jews and Muslims do not believe in the Christian Armageddon! More drama. And no, it is not Armageddon (Tel Geido in Hebrew I believe) but another skirmish. Israel always defends her troops and citizenry (honorable) but also saw an opportunity to reduced the power of the fundamentalist Hezbollah that are re-grouping in Lebanon, a Syrian satellite. Lebanon has next to no army. More divide and conquer.

I met what seems like a nice woman on the net, but I know also that there are scams. In the USA, many companies will do inexpensive checks on USA citizens. Can't find anyone in China that does.

I fought in World War II, so I know something about justice and injustice... every nation has a right to defend itself... if your government harbors terrorist, then you should be willing to accept the fact that you are going to be attacked by a nation that you allow to be attacked by terrorist organizations that your government allows to operate in your country... so my question is.. what is the big uproar over Israel killing some Arab scum????

It seems that almost every major political figure throughout the world is speaking out for peace, yet George W. Bush actually supports the killings of hundreds of civilians. He's basically funding Israel to attack Lebanon. What is going on?!?!? This needs to stop NOW!!! Get George W. Bush out of the White House!

Our state looses the sales, the sales tax and has made law breakers out of millions of her residents. What's up with that. We are revolting against the law the police aren't enforcing the law and I am not noticing anyone getting injured in the first place. Indiana gets the sales and the sales tax. MICHIGANDERS STAND UP FOR YOUR LIBERTY!

When I search these terms I keep getting Mexicans driving in America or American tourists in Mexico. I don't want either. I want to know if there's a Mexican equivalent of DMV. What are the driving laws in Mexico for Mexicans? Are they enforced? Is insurance required of their drivers? Are there online sources to answer this question?
