Our state looses the sales, the sales tax and has made law breakers out of millions of her residents. What's up with that. We are revolting against the law the police aren't enforcing the law and I am not noticing anyone getting injured in the first place. Indiana gets the sales and the sales tax. Michigan, like most states are quickly becoming, is a nanny state. The government thinks that the more they do, no matter how intrusive or pointless, the more people will vote for them. They get soccer moms and seniors to think that they're protecting them from those darned teenagers with bottle rockets, and they've got a whole voting block locked up. It's the one problem with representative democracy...stupid people.

Michigan banned fireworks after several years of progressively more serious injury. Kids were blowing their fingers off etc. One was killed.
Then, there is that whole, setting fires thing in Detroit on various holidays.
My theory is there is something in the water.

The graduation rate for michigan is 21% dude. Not to mention the amount of crack and meth houses you have. You have bigger problems to deal with in your state than lighting fireworks.

Do you realise how many people, children animals get injured by fireworks every yaer. Millions of dollars worth of damage is also done by fireworks!!
