I have never been in trouble with the law ever in my life, untill last night!

I was trying to walk home from a bar when i was stopped and charged with public intoxication and Disorderly conduct.

This is my first offence and my court date is in one month.
Now I would like to know if anyone else has been in this sitution, since its my first offence I would like to know...if you think they will give me jail time, a fine, and / or probation?? Ect...

Any information would be helpful!!

Pay your bail before they process you, or you'll go to County for the night. Some of those DWI arrests in the holding tank aren't your regular bar patrons. Stay out of jail at any cost. The sheriff deputies or gaurds that work at the jail are some mean SOB's. They disrespect, belittle, humiliate you and you can't talk back.

1st time offense? most likely a fine and counseling and probation. be glad you weren't driving. be good and do what the judge sez and the charges could be dropped from your record

get a lawyer and ask for some kind of defferment or accountablilty program. many counties have a program to avoid getting a record. you could also call the county prosecuteors office where it happened and ask them about it.
