Because Israel is meddling in other's affairs - and Bush is saying that the US will protect them not matter what. So, by not meddling with Israel - he is not telling them to stop - he is endorsing our ally's meddling. People are mad about the type of meddling and the outcome of that meddling. There would not be a similar outcome were we to "meddle" with Israel by telling them that we do not support their "meddling".
Now...how many times can you other people use the word meddling in a sentence?

Because the left wing media will do anything they can to twist logic to make Bush look bad. Then all these sheep see it and believe it without forming their own opinion or doing their own research.

The United States financially supports the Israeli war machine, then lets Israel kill whomever they please, Why shouldn't the US government meddle with Israel? you have a good question there

The failure of diplomacy is always a bad.
What Hezbollah has done is wrong, but Israeli soldiers are killing civilians from what I hear... people who have nothing to do with anything as far as we know.
This doesn't do anything but make matters worse.
