can i be denied medical attention? was sick at work and couldn't leave because no "coverage"........
i work as a weekend supervisor for the state in a long term care facility. i went in sick because they said they had no one to cover for me. i got worse and told them i needed to go to the ER. the DON on call said i couldn't leave. they didn't have anyone to cover for me. i was so dehydrated i went over 24hours without urinating. i know as a nurse i needed iv fluids and more. is there anything i can do about this?........

i have been invited to go shooting out on Long Island, NY. I am not a NY state resident. My host has asked that I bring some of my "assult rifles" with me. Can I transport these through NYC to my destination? Are they legal outside of the city limits?

All you libs say that Bush stoled the election. Show me the facts. In reality it was Gore that tried to steal the election. With hagging chads. He ettempted to throw out all the absentee milatery votes, Convicted felons were voting for Gore, and he tried to keep thier vote. These are just a few, there is more. Gore tried to change the constitution, and the out come of an election. Bush had to take it to court. Bush won becuase he was fairly elected.The courts agreed. As far as the popular vote. Never in the history of this great country has that been the determining factor in a election. We are a representative republic. Its the electorial college that determans our election out come.

How do I go about handling this? I have papers to prove it. Should i go and get a written letter from the police? Before approaching them? Is it possible to get a letter from the police station when you have lost daycare kids you keep during the day because of this? And because they did not get your paper work on time to the courts?
