How do I go about handling this? I have papers to prove it. Should i go and get a written letter from the police? Before approaching them? Is it possible to get a letter from the police station when you have lost daycare kids you keep during the day because of this? And because they did not get your paper work on time to the courts?

First check your lease - if there's any mention of that you can be evicted for ANY infraction, then you've got a hard road ahead of you. If there's no mention of it, speak to your landlord and let him/her know that it was a mistake and that you have paperwork to prove it.

Good luck!

Hate to say it. But a landlord can kick you out anytime they want. If you read the lease closely there is always a clause.
