All you libs say that Bush stoled the election. Show me the facts. In reality it was Gore that tried to steal the election. With hagging chads. He ettempted to throw out all the absentee milatery votes, Convicted felons were voting for Gore, and he tried to keep thier vote. These are just a few, there is more. Gore tried to change the constitution, and the out come of an election. Bush had to take it to court. Bush won becuase he was fairly elected. The courts agreed. As far as the popular vote. Never in the history of this great country has that been the determining factor in a election. We are a representative republic. Its the electorial college that determans our election out come.

wow, look at the answers. Someone telling you to read an article in rolling stone (since musicians are the best source for politics), and someone telling you to watch michael moores movie.

Unfreakingbelievable! Is this where you liberals get your information? From a movie, and music magazine?
Movie is full of lies. That is a fact, and has been proven so. That is why it does not carry the name of 'documentary' anymore. Rollingstone is as far left as you can find, so no, I will not read 'a good article' out of there. what makes it a 'good article'? Because you want to believe it?

btw, whoever said approval rate was 22. we know how much you love your polls (many proven to be bias), but it was never that low. last week it was around 40.

---

why do you liberals ignore the military votes not accepted in florida? You find a few old people who say things like, "I meant to vote for Kerry, but I voted for Bush". Somehow when they were looking at the ballot, they voted wrong, but they remember voting wrong so clearly.

Rolling stone has a rather extensive essay on this. You will have to go look it up. Tell ya what, you keep backing Bush and I will keep putting money on our being in a Civil War of some type by the end of the decade. Is it a deal?

Oh, and one more thing, bush only won in 2004 by .7% of the vote. Not exactly a mandate. And the last time I check, in April, his approval rating was at 22%. But hey, keep on backing him. Tizz your right.

No element in balloting for every physique if George Bush became working. He might in user-friendly terms low fee any votes that weren't for him & win besides like he did final time. He additionally has all the air of secrecy of a wart-hog with toothache. Clinton became a lots better president because of the fact he had a spark which drew human beings to him. He slipped off the pedestal some cases yet that for the time of user-friendly terms proved he became human. i think of he genuinely cared with regard to the yank human beings & not in user-friendly terms for invoice Clinton. while he smiled it regarded actual while GW bush looks love that's pasted on.

I haven't been in the US in a while, but can anyone tell me about all the wonderful things Bush has done for us domestically? I know he's really burned us on foreign policy, but at least he's done great things in the US for the American people right? I mean, c'mon, he's had the highest approval rating and complete control of all three branches of government, zero resistance to anything he wants to do, so where are his great policies, which are they?

I guess nobody can talk about it for reasons of national security...my bad.

If anyone is interested in facts, the RNC is being indicted at this moment for massive voter fraud in 2004. Here is the story and indictment (with supporting evidence):

What happened in Florida with his cousin? The votes somehow got all mixed up and they could not be counted. Bush bought his presidency and now he is destroying our once great country but I can't blame it all on the idiot it's his dad and sidekicks and in general the gov't. I have no use for our gov't as it now is. However, I LOVE America.

1)In reality it was Gore that tried to steal the election With hagging chads.

This makes no sense, both grammatically and on balance.
Your suggesting that when voter intent can be determined by looking at the physical ballot, all be it with hanging chads, it should be dismissed...because? because either your not concerned with voter intent, or that counting all the votes constitues theft.

)He ettempted to throw out all the absentee milatery votes,

There were 3600 overseas ballots, and a large number -- about 1400 of them -- were thrown out. Republicans have been claiming that many of them were the ballots of military personnel stationed overseas, and they were dismissed because they did not have a postmark. They have accused the Democrats of trying to throw those ballots out.

Democrats deny they deliberately targeted military ballots. They say they just want all the overseas to be lawful. In fact, the best count by the Gore campaign has said that there were only about 200, if that many, military ballots that were disqualified for lack of a postmark. But subsequently, the attorney general of Florida, who is a Democrat and a big Gore supporter, in fact one of the leaders of the Gore campaign in Florida, has issued a directive to the local officials instructing them to revisit the absentee ballot issue and to count an overseas ballot so long as it is signed and dated by election day even if the postmark is missing.

the Gore legal team was leaning against suing Seminole County, where the county's Republican elections supervisor allowed GOP operatives to camp out in her office for 10 days, filling in the voter I.D. numbers on around 4,000 absentee ballot applications printed by the Republican Party.

Simply they repulican party voided those ballots when they altered them.....

Bill Daley, who is chairman of the Gore campaign, has said that the Gore campaign wants every single ballot that was lawfully cast, that was signed and dated appropriately, to be counted. They've said that all along. [Democratic Vice Presidential nominee] Joe Lieberman said much the same thing on Sunday. They've been pretty consistent that they do not want to disqualify military ballots.

The Gore campaign believes they will get their fair share of military ballots. They point out that the enlisted ranks, which are greater than the officer ranks, tend to be members of minority groups -- that's the demographics of today's military -- and they tend to be Democrats. So they feel they have nothing to fear from military ballots.

2)Convicted felons were voting for Gore, and he tried to keep thier vote. These are just a few, there is more

Again i have no clue where your come up with these fantasies, The reality is that Florida Govener and Brother to then canidate GW Bush hired a company DBT to purge voting rolls of names of convicted felons, which by the way were provided to the company by the Bush Campaing itself.

The company DBT alerted Florida officals that the list was 95 percent inaccurate, and not only were people with the same name as felons taken off in error but people with similar sounding names were taken off.

The Florida governer and canvas officals after hearing this still wanted to add even more names to the roll.

22,000 Black votes just conviently taken away

3)Gore tried to change the constitution, and the out come of an election. Bush had to take it to court.

This is ridiculous, on face value and in fact. The courts of florida ordered the votes to be counted, the supreme court ruled to stop counting votes, again any ligimate argument depends on counting votes, not the celebration of disenfranchiment.

4)Bush won becuase he was fairly elected. The courts agreed

This is problamitic that you feel the courts should be choosing presidents. or even involved. What is strange about the Gore V. Bush rulling was teh emphasis that thier rulings and decision would not applicable to any other future or present cases. funny huh?

5) As far as the popular vote Never in the history of this great country has that been the determining factor in a election.

No one disputes that we are based on an electoral system, but your statement is incorrect....

Popular vote determines how electoral votes will be applied in a state by state basis , so your again wrong in fact. I doubt you really understand how our system works.

Listen i no matter what evidence i provide you will hang on your beliefs for dear life, for fear of being wrong and a sucker. just refuting your generalizations felt like a waste of my time.

Note that you probably don't care about votes getting counted, or votes being cast in the first place, instead of labouring this tired question why don't you scream bloody hell that thousands of people in both elections wheter democart or republican didn't have their vote counted.....

thats being a f##ken adult and an american.

Please note that in the election of 2004 3million votes were contested by repulbican operatives, a significant percentage were military absentee.

i think i have answered this question a number of times already. im tired of explaining the facts over and over. just watch the first ten minutes of farenheit 9/11 and if you still dont get it ask the question again so we can go over the 2000 election step by step.
